Miguel Diaz Fallen order’s combat is stiff and clunky souls-like wannabe. This has a lot more freedom and variety.

TIP: if you find the movement too janky turn down the sensitivity a bit! I’ve been playing this game since launch and when testing these ports I typically find that the sensitivity is set way too high.

@@VulturePilot Unfortunately, the online multiplayer is also gimped. You cannot set preferences (lightsabers only, disable force powers ect.), chat, kick players and such. I really hope that they patch that stuff in.

And this is the one that HAS the multiplayer. I’d check it out, though make sure the controls are good for you, and make sure you realize everyone in the server wants to be a Jedi...

I mean, to be fair, that’s maybe the greatest thing about this game: how well it handles the fact that everybody wants to be a Jedi. There is no other game that makes multiplayer lightsaber-swingin’ so intuitive and deep and fun.

@g1yph This is the game that lets you throw someone off a cliff by the throat and still not cross over to the Dark Side unless you kill someone specific near the end of the game. Remember, this is a Kyle Katarn game. This is BEFORE they doubled down on the, “No, certain abilities are inherent to practitioners of one side. Lightning can only be done by channeling the Dark Side,” thing. This was before Disney, even if Disney made Force Ghosts a light side-only thing...

Sure is. Most Star Wars fans will get the reference. You passed the test, young padawan.

Hands down one of the coolest sword-dueling systems ever created. Very smooth and intuitive. Looks great and feels great. So easy to pick up, yet so much depth and nuance to uncover. Fun to be new at, fun to be skilled at, and so much fun to learn. Just an absolutely stunning piece of combat design. There’s really been nothing else quite like it still to this day, and it’s absolutely every bit as awesome to play now as ever.

Best game ever, i hope the younger generation get to experience a great game and i hope this sparks a new one. They dont make games like this anymore even though the younger crowd will not dig the graphics. The mechanics outstanding.

I really hope this game sells well. I've been waiting for a sequel or a modern remake of this game for a long time.

T Doran agreed. Fallen order is completely mindless and a total slog. The “press stick forward to slowly advance through tight hole in wall” sections are ridiculous in number and length. The platforming is mindless and dull and there’s no reason to explore since the flavor text is vague menu descriptions and skins. The combat is stiff and clunky souls wannabe and cal controls like a brick. No real player choice or freedom like you said.

The choice of choosing your own path and not following a path that your forced to follow is immersive and allows the impact of your choices impact how the game will play out.

I've been looking forward to this!

That's two of my top three FPS's on the switch now! Although, I spent most of it in third person using the light saber.

I used to love this game! So glad they are bringing it back and on the Switch at that.👏👏👏

Before you get too excited, it's important to note that this port achieves widescreen by cropping the vertical field of view, rather than expanding the horizontal field of view. This may cause nausea. On that point, it also doesn't have an option to pillarbox to 4:3, unlike Jedi Outcast's Switch port.

This needs a Movie Battles 2 DLC.

The memories of playing this on Xbox Live and PC. The lightsaber and kicking duels off platforms were priceless with people haha!

As someone who overall prefers Jedi Outcast, Jedi Academy's port is SO much better than that one's. This is an easy recommendation.

You know what? Props to them! They're one of the only game trailers out there that don't use great quality out-of-game footage to show you what you're getting! This game looks ace!

Bought Jedi outcast on ps4. This one is worth getting on Switch! This was exclusive to Xbox and now that this is available on current systems, I'm hoping the same happens to SW Republic Commandos, with updated graphics. Respawn (Jedi Fallen Order) should do that!

Now all I need are the two Knights of the Old Republic games!

Yeah, it's so mind boggling that you can't invite a friend. I bought this for that purpose to have a switch game to play with my friends. I'm just playing story mode because the modes are mostly empty.

This is just too awesome! A Star Wars classic is back, and a very big THANK YOU for not excluding it's epic multiplayer! Now, we just need Dark Forces and Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II + Mysteries of the Sith! I _really_ hope Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast will receive an update that adds it's missing multiplayer. I hate that it was left out. Especially now that we have Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy with it's multiplayer intact.

This title gets my award for best multiplayer game of the decade. I must have put in close to 3000 hours into this over 7 years. Still the mouse and keyboard is the way to go with these type of games.
