If they're gonna make a Darth Vader game, similar-ish to Fallen Order, it should take place soon after RotS, because then the "learning new abilities"-thing would make sense, because he's still getting used to his new cybernetic body. And learning old skills again through flashbacks/visions would return from Fallen Order.

Which is basically all of Fallen Order. Though the shots are parried, they are pretty on target

In the opening level of the force unleashed 1, you played as vader. He was super slow, absolute tank. I'd be fine if they did that for a whole game.

I don't want Vader to become over-saturated because when he show's up you know it's going to be good. Holding him in reserve is the best decision, or he will be like Batman; overused. Tho I do LOVE Vader and being able to play a full game with him would be seriously cool.

I feel you. Vader’s stories are good though. I wasn’t feeling the whole Kyber crystal bleeding thing, but his post ROTS stories are great.

i mean, they were implimented literally at the same time this game takes place. Having prototype Death Troopers to test against a Jedi Padawan sounds like something the Empire would do, i don't get why they didn't put them in the game.

Republic Commando was such an amazing game. A game where you play as a clone commander OR as a Jedi in the clone wars would be so nice, being able to customize the painting of your soldiers' armor and such. Some RPG like interactions with characters of your company so you bond with them, then everything ending with order 66

it could be so nice to have a Darth Vader game, a game where you really feels like Vader you know really OP and stuff. I would love it.

Developers should really take more of an example from modders when it comes to customization. No boundaries. Just have fun with it. I really wanna have a serious talk with whoever made the terrible poncho decision.

The ponchos are fine. The only thing I'm bothered by is that they looked better in the concept art.(which also showed helmet and masks) I wish they'd gone the Forcd Unleashed route snd given us a unique set of outfits for each environment.

Vader also has his tie fighter that he uses to travel with. Maybe in a hypothetical game, they can use Vaders tie fighter similarly to how rocksteady use the batmobile in Arkham knight where you can customize it and unlock upgrades for it. In a Vader game you would have to have a lot of customization options when it comes to all aspects of the character.

Hell yes. I would love to see the game starting from his initial becoming Darth Vader. Like how Cal learns different force abilities through the story line the same could be done for Vader/Anakin learning the dark side powers as a new sith and End the story sometime before or maybe at Scarif

we need a canon storygame where you can choose different stories, you can play as luke on tatoine or you can play as ahsoka or where you can the old republic or play order 66 or play the force awakens it's all up to you. you get the point, the skywalker saga but not lego and more stories

I lost my shit when I first played as Vader in TFU1!! I played to completion on the PS2 and actually still like that version. Then got it for the PS3 and fell in love all over again lol.

I really wish I could keep playing this game but after two playthroughs, doing the challenges, unlocking everything, there is nothing left.

The closest thing we have is the opening mission of The Force Unleashed. The ps2 version of the game had a Vader skin so you could actually run around as Vader. It was cool!

What if like during a Darth Vader game you would struggle in a fight but when you get like halfway through it would go to a cut scene where he absolutely wrecks his opponent so not even you could live up to Vader. Or it's kind of set more near the beginning of the Empire when he's still trying to cope with his new body and getting used to the Dark Side and hasn't yet reached his full power.

You could (and they should) do a Vader exploration, action-adventure style game. The thing everyone misunderstands is Vader can both jump incredibly high and move very fast. We've seen in the Vader comics that Vader can move so quickly that he can weave in between blaster fire, and even can move faster than most force users can see. And while Vader wouldn't be doing any double jumps, his actual jump distance is massive, easily being able to clear large gaps and even jump up to about 3 or 4 stories. So if you are making a Vader game I'd simply have his saber style powerful and direct, no dodge rolling, but quick side dashes, and incredibly powerful telekinetic pushes, pulls, and group damaging/killing force powers (mass crush, choke, and repel). Take out wall running, not because he couldn't do it, but more because it isn't his style, and simply have him have a regular high jump (about Cal's double jump height, but with a single jump), and a focused force jump ability to clear long distances and heights. That's how you have an exploration styled Vader game.

A vader game would be cool. You could learn new abilities and upgrade your armour, while going from planet to planet, doing the emperors bidding, slaughtering Jedi, killing officers, and maybe being able to throw in the inquisitors somewhere.
