This was a very useful and informative video. Fi mizan hasanatak. I had no.idea you could catch a train from within the airport. That is amazing. They have done such a great job in facilitating everything. Did u arrive at the haraam with your luggage? Can one take a cab to the hotel first? Is it expensive. Also can one buy a train ticket at the station instead if online in case the flight is delayed?

Hey Sol, thanks for sharing your experience. Question: if you’ve arrived & staying in a hotel in Jeddah, as you’re leaving Jeddah, do you THEN make the intent and change into the white gear for umrah? Meaning if I’ve arrived and touring in Jeddah (I’m in normal clothes as the intent hasn’t been made yet). Know what I mean?

Yes, I do know what you mean. if you arrive and stay in Jeddah touring and stay there. You can where normal clothes. You can start to wear your white clothes when you are leaving Jeddah and make you intentions to make Umrah :)

I know they don’t enforce men’s dress code, but we enforce it ourselves by being mindful. Again - I promise, not judging only observing. Thank you again for sharing your experience. Wa'alikum Assalaam. Could you let me know the shuttle bus charges(Bus 7A) from Makkah Train Station to Harram? And also how did you paid for it? Did you paid it on the bus itself or purchased a ticket for the bus online as well? I have used it once before earlier last year and it was free back then. Will be travelling to Makkah on Monday, inshaAllah and would like to know before hand. Nice video by the way.
