Really appreciated the advice about not showing emotions if a bad shot happens. I psych myself out during league from that, so that's something important to focus on. Loved the review!
I grew up watching billiards n Jeanette lee is one of the best to have played the game....as professional as she was in the game of pool..she was an even better of a mother ...I hope she continues to get treatment n beat this enemy like she has done all her life...
Loved it! I learn so much when you and Earl explain addressing the cue ball and the subsequent action.
Great commentary. Love the fact that we don’t need a full out power break! Tk you.
Extremely impressed by the commentator's knowledge about players, prediction of the shots, analysis of the table and every shot. Very useful. I wish every match would have this level of commentary.
I enjoyed watching these two Ladies play. Also how U broke down the game Brian. Praying for Jeanette.
More than enjoyed it, LOVED it! Great match and excellent commentary, so helpful to amateurs to hear what the pros are thinking on shots. I think Jeanette's a great pool player, but Pan is just a cut above, what a super shot maker and position player!
I loved every minute of this video. Thanks!!! Fantastic content Bryan. You must watch until the END!!!
Awesome analysis, thoroughly enjoy this channel! My game has improved immensely because of your commentary and explanations on various shots sir!
This is bad ass... this is what most player should see and pay very close attention to. Brian does a great job on this. Thxs

What a great way to teach the game thanks for your time and patience
Keep these coming!! It's really helping me.
thank you, on how a short player needs to understand, a short player has to look at each shot for the proper angle for a shorter player.
Godspeed, Jeannette....
Enjoyed the analysis and also the humour at the end,definitely one of the best pool channels out there!
Many prayers for your health Jennette.

Did you notice that after the bad news, its seems that all of Billiard video where Jeanette is also feature are coming out .. they are paying tribute to her as much as possible before she die.. remember her illness is terminal. If she survive 2021 she may die in early 2022 or little bit later..

@@altarik there are many new drugs out that can keep metastatic cancer patients alive. Please have faith. If she is as fierce in her fight for her life as she is on the table she can beat this. Great review Brian! I especially liked your advice on transmission of disappointment in position to your opponent and yourself. It’s amazing how much it can change your game, and your opponent’s game. Great translation of Chinese comments from Pan!

Great commentary And I subscribed, just like Pan told me to do! LOL. Looking forward to seeing more of your videos. Thanks
I have to admit that I do enjoy watching these with the descriptive narration. And yes, I believe that is exactly what she said .... lol Totally enjoyed!!! Pan obviously plays to her strengths which is either her long game when necessary or what kinda shows as her "across" table play --- either way, it's the "no non-sense" approach. For sure, it's to be appreciated!!!
Probably the best commentator, by far, on You tube pool matches.

Never played Billiards before, nothing like pub pool. Definitely want to start playing, impressive how good these two ladies are. I hope my snooker experience will help.
Always loved the Black Widow!🥰😛, And your a strong and beautiful woman,and you can get through this cancer girl I have faith in you and my heart goes out to you,stay safe,strong and beat this,without you there would be no billiards to watch! And the most beautiful woman to play the game!! 🙏
Very informative, I enjoyed the narration.
Loved the translation at the end!

Brian, thanks for your comments on this video. Great stuff. Relatively new to your channel and really enjoy how you present your content. I'll be watching.
@ 27:30 the 4 ball should have been a center stroke, no English was necessary. Top/follow/center/stun/draw is center ball striking. When I am asked "can you help me progress in my game" I start with Master center ball striking. A player that is confident in his/her shot and wants to progress. I highly recommend asking questions. Keep it up FX you rock.
Loved the vid yes learned a lot but have to say also you make a great commentator as well

Loved your Chinese translation of her interview! I'm SURE that she thanked you in particular and who can doubt she wants everyone to subscribe? I always get something out of it when you, or Earl, or whoever gives commentary on a match. My thinking and the players or commentators thoughts sometimes differ and I like that. It gives me a different perspective and adds to my library of shot options. I do like listening to Earl. Has he ever seen any shot that didn't need some spin? I don't think he has.
@FXBilliards

I love when he says: "He missed it...must not have put any spin on that one" And "I can't tell you what he's doing because they aren't showing me where he is hitting it" Good stuff.
this is a very brutal match. no mercy.
I have seen Xiaoting miss more balls due to over reaching rather than use the bridge. Fortunately got to play against both in a WPBA tournament in San Diego during the Pro-Am. Did not win, lol.
That's a lot of beauty in one video
Great commentary.
Absolutely appreciate the lesson on not showing emotion to your opponent and to "Your Brain". This is so important on the golf course as well. I needed the reminder, thank you!
I did enjoy the video, but that translation was the highlight! Funny stuff.
liked your comments, insightful for sure
Pan Xiaoting's clean stroke and mechanics looks a lot like Seo Seoa
does anyone know which cue Pan uses to bridge with? great video and breakdown btw!
Yes sir. Excellent idea. I certainly did enjoyed the game and the view. Two of my most favorite female players. Great commentary and I definitely hope to see more. Stay well. QA
Did anyone notice Pans index finger when she shoots. I wonder how much that freaky finger factors in to her being the queen of pool 😂
Pan-- the most beautiful pool shooter in the world~USA
I miss her my idol
You should definitely do more. I enjoyed it very much
I like Pan Xiaoting Very smooth stroke cueball control is great and she is very Pretty 😍 .. I learned a lot from ur review in this also to Billiard Network specially when earl Strictland is commenting on every shot . Good Job Fx Billiard
Pan is freakin gorgeous!!! 😲
Another gem, Bryan. I'm with you on the body language...why give your opponent the satisfaction? Why give up the mental high ground? Impressed with your translation work too...🤣

Basically, what seperates a player like Pan from the rest of us mere mortals is the position play. Almost always perfect. Nothing will kill a run in 9-ball more than getting out shape.
Very nice Bryan! Been watching for about a week now. Just bought your course. Very good material indeed. I used to play a lot with my dad when I was younger. Going to get my first cue soon. You have any recommendations on where I should go online? I’m looking for a mid level cue.

P. S. in regards to lessons I would like to see is how to play shots that defend against players who love to block pockets. thanks

I wonder if she ever played Tkach or Fefilova
Interesting stance. Straight on, like a snooker player At 3:15 you see her approach the shot and her right foot is facing the shot as opposed to being at an angle to the shot line.
@FXBilliards
3 жыл бұрын
Yes she does move that foot around in different directions now and then. She has also had catastrophic back issues since she was a child. Another reason the best coaches don’t get religious about everyone’s stance. A straight stroke is 10 times more important than where your feet are pointed.
@deathshead357
3 жыл бұрын
@@FXBilliards Thanks for the reply. I was actually referring to Pan's stance, but like you said....a straight stoke is more important.
I love Jeanette lee
@35:00 minutes you were talking about the safety. I just rewatched a video from Lil Chris. He was talking about english and how it throws the cue ball. Could Jeanette not have played about 3/4 tip of right and shot straight at the rail to attempt a kick at the 3 ball?
@FXBilliards
3 жыл бұрын
That is what she was trying to do BUT, that is not an exact science. There is more art than science on those kick shots with spin. But you can't teach art, so often you are given baselines. The One Tip per diamond is a guild-line. A faster table, dirty balls, lower deflection cue, even tip size and the weather can effect that shot. That why I never teach in Number of Tips: Who's tips?. Mine are 12.4mm, yours could be 13.4mm. Speed also effects that shot by as much as 2 inches. Never-the-less, good observation on your part Kyle. I think in her prime she would have hit the ball... well in her prime she would not have gotten into such a mess. I still love her.
Pan is gorgeous!
38:17 ☺️👍
Pan is so f-- beautiful my lord!
I love when Jeanette overreact It's kool and nice to watch
Nice game snooker Players shot
To the guy that doesn't draw the cue ball..... You got the 8 lol. Listen guys, why would you limit your self that way. 99.0 percent of players have this in there arsenal..... Learn everything you can. And master it.

When I reviewed it later, it was clear that she saw the shot. She just seemed a little surprised that it went. It was a two way type thing. And players DO GET tunnel vision and miss seeing shots that are clear to the rest of the world. I watched Shane try to pocket a ball that everyone in the stands knew would not pass. Even the commentators said, "that shot does not go." But from his vantagepoint (he never walked around the table to look) it looked good. Nevertheless, I think you are correct.

At the time they didn’t know any better - and some still don’t. But leaving your feet during a break does not add power.
@jackbuff_I

@@FXBilliards simple physics states leaving your feet planted allows the breaker to push their weight through ..therefore increasing velocity. After all, Boxers don't jump when they throw a punch. Thanks for your answer though.
Good luck Jeanette. Couldn’t believe the news. I know this is an old video and you’re likely not reading comments during cancer treatments but I wish you the best. You were so young when we played together back in the 90’s I never thought I’d read about your cancer at 49. Praying for you and your family and I hope you are not suffering
Noticed on "easy" shots they still go look at it and follow routine.... what are like top 5, 10 things you notice good, pro players do that amateur players don't.... or things pros don't do that amateurs do
