Hi ! I'm currently leaning more towards fragrances like Gentle Fluidity Silver, Cedrat Boisé for warm temperatures and Halfeti when it's cooler. I'm interested in Le Beau (I began my fragrance journey back in late 90s with Le Male)... considering that the use will be more for summer time, in the south of France (I alternate between Lyon and Bandol (between Marseille & Toulon) where it's hot, but temperatures decrease a bit in the evening (compared to Lyon). I'll be in Miami and Bahamas in October... so wanted something a bit tropical. I tried a sample of Virgin Island Water, but can't decide to buy (poor performance, and can't accept the way of doing business of Creed). What would you recommend more ? Cheers, Stéphane

Yes but the coco is gone after an hour and it become a simple Davidoff coolwater fragrance

For me Issey Miyake Fusion (not the extreme version) is very similar to the JPG Le Beau Le Parfum. I'd love to see a comparison from those two, specialy becayse this Issey Miyake is kinda under the radar. I LOVE Fusion but aparently people dont (or really dont know it)

Layering sounds like a good idea with these🤔 love your take on these. I gotta get the Parfum.❤

Exactly, they compliment each other and meant for each other. If you can afford one of them then chance is you can afford the other. Especially considering they are 125 ML bottles, value all day

I have both and would recommend going with Le Beau Le Parfum. There’s more to it than the regular Le Beau and it’s “sexier” for lack of a better word. I like the regular but Le Parfum is just better in my opinion

I find that many many summer frags dont work in the blazing heat. But le beau le parfum does magic in hot humid summer nights. Reminds me of the coctails by the beach at nigh. That pineapple gives a fresh pina colada vibe and doest allow the coconut to go super sweet. Not so versatile but for vacation and summer nights at the beach... stellar!

I had the opposite experience. It was awful for summer nights on my skin and I used quite a bit of it.

You have to try the new invictus victory elixir (blue black gradient bottle) it is very similar to le beau le parfum, moreso after 5-10 mins, but it is stronger, smoother, and a little sexier imo. You really have to wear it and feel those wafts through the wear to appreciate what it really does. I usually hate designer fragrances, especially the invictus line but I really like le beau le parfum and the new invictus victory elixir.

Nah, stick to the EDT. I have Le Parfum and it doesnt last long at all. Becomes very woody and close to the skin after 2hours

Nah, I don't, EDT smells verry simple after an hour, there is no coco nut anymore and smells like Davidoff Coolwater to be honest, I have them both. It smells ok the first 20 minutes but it become a verry cheap frag in my opinion. EDP more powerfull and stays a whole day

Élixir Best

I blind bought le beau and was so angry, one of my worst blind buys for sure. It didn't smell like any coconut or citrus, it just smelled like wood and tonka but in the most boring basic way. Was really disappointing honestly, I should've maybe tried the le parfum instead but after that disaster I think i'm done with the le beau line for good now. I'll stick with the other JPG fragrances like essence de parfum or le male le parfum, even snowglobe is pretty nice too

@@markhart6743 yeah it's a shame it never got much attention until CH men prive was discontinued then everyone kinda jumped on board the Essence de parfum fragrance and then JPG discontinued that one. Well I don't know which was discontinued first actually but I know they both discontinued know which sucks I grabbed a bottle of both because I love it and sold my Le beau although it was very hard to sell my le beau I had to sell it really champ and lost heaps of money because nobody wanted to buy the le beau unless I sold it like $60 in a bundle with another fragrance

No that doesn’t affect anything

The EDT smells like a better, different version of Jake by Hollister. Instead of that traditional Hollister smell, it’s fresher, more elegant, stronger and made made a little tropical with that coconut. Haven’t tried the Parfum version.
