A song without lyrics is worth a thousand words
The sculpture he's playing near is one of my favourite sculptures! I'm currently painting it. Its created by Jean Baptiste-Carpeaux in the late 1800's and is called 'Ugolino and His Sons'. It's a depiction of an Italian count that committed treason and was imprisoned with his sons and grandsons.
It has been quite a long time since I heard such a beautiful and passionately played song! Thank you!
