I'm shocked that people would use those toxic chemicals on hair. It must have stunk the place out, and wouldn't the stylist get ill from breathing in the fumes?

She suffered from Scarlett fever when she was 15 and this may have caused her kidney problems later in life. You had things like that in those days. Around that time my father had rheumatic fever. He had a heart murmur his whole life after that.

It was her kidney failure that caused her bad breath.

It was because of a failed platinum bond job that Tina Turner started donning wigs. The price some women pay for artificial beauty is too high.

Goodness! What a great video ❤ I'm actually suffering from cholecystitis! I'm getting my gallbladder removed on Monday. I understand the breath issues. Most stomach problems will cause bad breath ( and a horrible taste in the mouth) 👄 jean died too young ❤ R.I.P. ❤

What a tragedy. Her immune system was weak all her life, and she drank and smoked. Not too mention that poison that was put in her hair, it’s know wonder she died so young. 26, is too young.

I think the Catalyst was all that Platinum hair dying hair coloring bleaching is not good and they also found out that when you dye your hair that your brain and also your kidney absorbs it each every time you do that

She was a good actress, but I've never seen the "bombshell" look of her

I didn't know she died that young. What she put her body through on top of all the illness she suffered makes an early death not really all that surprising. Had she been born 30 years later she may have lived considerably longer and perhaps been eligible for a kidney transplant and dialysis in the meantime. Then again, if she HAD been born 30 years later, she may never have been the star she was . A very tragic story indeed.

I am quite surprised that in all I've watched about her and all I've read diabetes is never mentioned. I wonder was she ever checked for that. That is a common cause of kidney disease.

When I was a child at the early 40s, my aunty used to bleach her hair blonde with ammonia and water peroxide. I'll never forget the horrible odour I felt every time I was taken to visit her and found her having her hair done, That was the only way women could go blonde.
