There are many “how to” photography videos out there, but it’s beyond refreshing to finally see one from a pro who knows what she’s doing and produces stunning images.

I just stumbled apon this video after my dad was talking about this to someone at the baseball field so I decided to watch this video and I remember playing this game. I was young so I didn’t really realize what was what was going on but it was fun. I remember playing so many games there after little league closed. I still practice there to this day. Thank you so much for doing this shoot, capturing these precious memories.

Love that she is shooting a little league game while talking about photography. Gave me some “between the action” ideas.

The first half hour of this is probably the best sports photography lesson/masterclass I've ever seen. Absolutely amazing! I started watching this while editing some sports photos, and had to stop editing to just watch and listen. The q&a session after that was great too. Amazing!!

Jean, excellent presentation, well done. As a media sports photographer myself, and I would have expected you to mention the use of Photo Mechanic (PM) software for image culling to locate both camera-tagged images and voice recording tags. PM can swiftly sort, hiding untagged images for immediate metadata editing to narrate the image's story. Also, with PM, you can use Code Replacement to identify names of team players using jersey numbers as keywords. I previously used Bridge for culling and metadata editing. However, once I realized how PM could expedite the tag search, incorporate text descriptions into the template, crop, and then transfer images to Adobe Camera RAW for editing, followed by a quick batch save to a folder from ACR, I never looked back. I still utilize Bridge, but only as a viewer and to selectively transfer images into Photoshop.

Super video. Now I have to get on the list for a Sony a1. I have a a9ii and a 7riv. I also have to get the 400 2.8 GM but I have to get that back in the US, when we visit, because the the VAT in Germany is 19% and the currency exchange is also high, I'll be spending and additional 20-25%, ouch.

I use the A1 to shoot motocross, usually paired with the 100-400mm lens. I get minor motion blur at the shutter speed 1/1250sec which works wonderfully with my A9II, same 100-400mm lens. Is this due to the doubling of the pixels in the sensor?
