I am an independent candidate in the Canadian federal election, running in Vancouver Quadra.
This is a short speech I gave at the end of the candidate meeting organized by the Dunbar Resident Association on October 5th, 2015.
I gave advance notice of my attendance, and the organizers refused to let me participate in the regular meeting. They only granted me 2 minutes at the very end to give this short speech.

I'm not at my best here. I forgot to say my name until someone asked. I stumbled in the middle. Maybe I can blame my annoyance at having sat through the most boring 1.5 hour political meeting I've ever attended.
