That load tool, anyone can do the same thing! Go to the junk yard, cut off a headlight wire harness that has 2 wires, put a bulb in done.. most car 2 wire headlight draw about 4 amps, use this as your test light. You need to make sure the power wire can actually carry a load. Done.

Yeah, I'm glad he makes other colors, my compact drill and compact hex driver look the same down in the toolbox drawer. Got a shiny red boot for one and a matte black for the other, Godfather solves another issue.

I'm looking for four metric sockets to cover skips in my 1/4" drive set. 4.5mm and 5.5mm, shallow and deep (in chrome). Prefer USA with German, Japan as second, Taiwan, India, Thailand, Vietnam as 3rd, PRC as last. Do you guys carry anything that will fill these skips? Same question for 9/64" and 1/8" (shallow and deep) (chrome) for my SAE set. LOVE YOUR CHANNEL!

The koken 3/8 compact ( 3/8 in a 1/4 body ) is even smoother. Koken USA doesn't warranty koken Japan? How about the snap-on truck ? Most the time if you don't buy it from them it's he'll to get warranty if your lucky. So ignore the haters.

@jdtvco you've said that before. Which is probably why these other dolts ( like an outfit in Tennessee ) are making a big deal out of koken USA not warranting koken Japan. Because they themselves don't stand behind their own sales. People need to consider the preacher before they listen to the sermon. He'll even Jim Jones sounded good once I'm sure. Remember those that are butt hurt are spreading the word for free.

I will agree that the purple could be darker for me personally, but shiny on a protective boot is counterproductive because it won’t stay that way if it’s doing it’s job. I have never been a fan of colored boots if they don’t match the tool anyway. Of course black works with everything. But all these green boots on a red Milwaukee tool….yuck Just one man’s opinion, each to their own.

@@jdtvco you gotta give the people what they want! I’m fine with that color, I have a snappy box in that color, 2 pneumatic impacts, 2 screwdriver sets, I’m sure some other stuff. I rode Green Kawasaki dirtbikes for years! I had a John Deere riding mower that was a “Sabre” series, they were lime green. I definitely don’t have any problem with the color on it’s own! But some color combos just don’t work! I see those colors matched up and I think, “somebody has a “grinch” fetish!

The Japan tool culture does not do lifetime warrany in Japan. If a Koken ratchet breaks where USA consumers take it for warranty? I buy Enginner brand pliers from Japan (zero warranty), the same $5 more Vampire brand USA only adds a 3-year warranty.

@@branned A joke only for Americans where there is an expectation of lifetime warranty and commonly an expectation that the lifetime warranty is a full one that includes wear and tear and abuse/misuse. From a business perspective, the joke is that people expect that because they gave some company some money, once, that they should have new ones on tap forever even after using cheater pipes and using the wrong tool for the job. Kinda cuts both ways there, and lifetime warranty is mostly a meaningless term as it's a length of time but rarely a promise of a full warranty. When the truck guy hooks you up they're likely biting the cost of that to shut people up and get the whining to stop. Channellock, Wilde, Tekton, a whole bevy of companies offer lifetime warranty but arent going to cover misuse, and used properly the tool is unlikely to fail anyway which renders the length of time moot.

@@AToolWithTools It was rare to need to warranty pliers in the 1980s for Craftsman. Craftsman Ratchets all the time (I did hundreds). Screwdrivers 2nd most common items. Snap-on and Craftsman set the standard. You are right many companies have a joke of a warranty.

@@branned Craftsman set the standard for the everyman, and eventually watered themselves down more and more to make up for it, before the Great Overseas Trip of the early 2010s. Snap-on, it's up to the dealer to fill the gap. The official policy is materials and workmanship with an allowance for goodwill replacement of things that have been abused, and only to the original owner. Anything beyond that is the dealer helping you out to keep you happy. The official policy is actually very typical and like a lot of other policies.
