JDM 1997 Toyota Century V12 | The Car Only Diplomats Could Drive, Until NOW!

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Welcome! Today we're diving into one of Japan's greatest luxury sedans to come out of the "Golden Era." Powered by the only V12 mass-produced in Japan, The 1997 Toyota Century V12. It's one of those vehicles that's you really need to see in order to believe what was built here. It would appear from the outside just a normal luxury sedan available to just any consumer who had the means to purchase it, but instead was designed and intended solely for Japanese diplomats and business executives. Inside you'll find a showcase of boss-like features that you'd expect from Rolls Royce, but in a package far more exclusive. Enjoy!

Great video, cheers. I've always liked the Century, and the Crown too, which was a bit more accesible to the average driver, particularly in western countries. It's interesting that the V12 is quite small- usually a V12 would be at least a 6 litre, in most cases. I hope to own one someday! Keep up the great work. "-)

After arguing with the dude and basically telling him to look under the rear...he turned it around. After that he came to me and asked did i put a chip in it. I told him no. He then pointed to the sticker in the engine bay and then to a computer screen. The sticker said 276hp. The screen said 305hp.

Depends where you live! Either an exporter in Japan who you trust to place you car on a ship or an importer in your own city. Bid in the auctions is one way of going about it, then paying taxes once it lands, inspection (if necessary) and then registering/insuring it for the road.
