Thanks for sharing a part of Bluegrass history. Some of the greatest musicians ever assembled, that would later become The bluegrass Album band. I was blessed to see all these great musicians in person a few times. RIP JD and Tony

The timing on nine pound hammer note spacing is "a mile a part". I wish I could... trails off in tears

100% sure. Because if Larry Rice was playing mandolin Tony would be singing tenor. Besides that Rickey has a distinct tonal quality in his voice.

@@charleshoneycutt89 doesn't Larry usually sing tenor with JD? I never heard Tony sing tenor in performance. Either way it sounds like Ricky.
