The tradition our children had with my mother was decorating her house for Christmas on the day after Thanksgiving. She always cooked a big breakfast for them. Congrats on the subscriber milestone! Of course I love all your designs, thats why I stop by. But hearing you talk about your tradition with your grandkids of school shopping just warmed my heart. My mom has 3 grandkids, 28, 26 and 22. When they were little, she would take them all shopping for Mothers Day and Father's Day to pick something out for their parents. The twist was she took them to the dollar store and told them they could each pick ten things for the parent. She LOVED watching their little minds make decisions on what to put back to get something else and what they had to keep...and the still do it every year!!! Traditions with grandparents are like nothing else in the world.

Hi Anne, they are interesting and well written, but some are a little on the rough side, depending on who author interviewed. But he was always able to find something to tie the stories together.

I love the traditions of back to school. Since my children are now adults and only 1grandbaby, I still shop with my oldest daughter for a back to school dress, as she is a teacher! Traditions make great memories!I love your designs and purchased the bluebirds from Keepsakes when it came out last February on a trip to MI to visit newborn grandbaby. All your new and old designs are so very precious ❤️ I'm planning on stitching ornaments this year from book 5 as that is the only one in my collection. ❤ Enjoyed seeing new releases and will add in the future ❣️

Your gifts were so,lovely Mary. I will warn you that some of the stories in the book are a bit rough, but the author is able to find a way to weave them into his narrative. And yes, I am very lucky that our grandchildren live in the area.
