Which of these is better?

So I'm listening to this audio test between them with my Beats Studio 3 over ear headphones because I need a good budget earbud. And the Sony definately sounds much better, however jbl does have touch control and noise cancel. If you want sound quality then definitely sony, which I'll buy.

I saw this video a few months ago and bought JBL based on it. Came back here to say that it was 100% a good decision. They're extremely good for the price.

@@atifalishaikh7474 Two options in my eyes 1- OnePlus Buds Z2 2- JBL 230 NC JBL has better overall, but OnePlus Buds Z2 has quickswitch, if you switch between your phone and laptop a lot you might want to get it, it is a HUGE convenience. If that isn't important for your use get JBL.

neither of them can

If you tweak the sound profile on sony,it sounds better than this jbl or anything that costs under 180 usd.

I have the c500 and they sound great but kind of uncomfortable if you put your head on the pillow

Excelent revierw, but bought both of them, and had massive connectivity issues with the JBL. Might have just been mine but the experience was just awful in terms of getting it to go into stereo mode. Out of the box they both have similar sound but the the clear bass from the sony app just amazing. The sony experience has not let me down. The noice cancelling is not something you need at this price point since its garbage. I'd go for the sonys.

why di i feel that jbl has lower volume than many TWS, i have bought these but the volume is like 70 Percent of my other Sony XB400, sound quality is great though, but i wish they had a little more volume..it become problematic when in busy bus or listening to podcast etc

I have both and Sony sound quality is noticeably better. But the case is better on JbL, it has remain charge indication and for some reason LED indicator in my Sony's case does not turn off when I putting buds in the case.

Reame buds air 3 ANC is far better than this JBL t230nc. If you are for ANC don't go for this.. Trust me Sony ex155 ap a 1000₹ earphones has better sound quality and bass than this JBL earbuds..it's just an average earbuds for music lovers.,. Sony is more crystal clear

You don’t know about sound. Sennheiser can beat Sony and Bose not jbl. Please don’t try to teach me about sound. I am an engineer about electronics and communications and my first project was how headphone can create anc without effecting sound quality on a headphone on 2016. From 2009 I am using various headphones and mp3 players like apple iPod, fiio, Sony Walkman. I also use fiio, jbl, sennheiser, beats, apple, Sony and Bose earphones. Not only that I also studied about the frequencies which are added on equaliser like 6 band equ or 10 band equ and also how anc works during phone call. These all are the parts of analog electronics. And all the earphone I used. I found that apple and jbl are have the narrowest sound stages. Bose is after that and then fiio, Sony and sennheiser earphones have the best overall soundstage and overall sound quality. But when it comes to speakers Bose is the best then jbl and Sony. Fiio and sennheiser don’t have speakers. Marshall also a great alternative speakers. I don’t say Jbl is bad. It’s actually better than boat, realme, oppo and redmi earphones but when you go over 5k then jbl is not for sound because they have really a wired sound issue because of too much high trable and that’s why in some songs specially in 90s like lata mangeshkar they really sound worse. Sony, bose and sennheiser sound is close to natural or more live. I have sound experience over 12 years till now and have anc experience over 6 years now, so please don’t teach me about sound and don’t misleading people to waste their money. Because everyone’s economy is not as good as you. So please guide them with the right thing.

Thank you for the biased video. As I have heard sony sound clarity is far better than jbl, Mic is louder than jbl. You can tell us in noisy conditions jbl mike will perform better.

upgrade your mic please. audio quality is low quality otherwise video quality is so good

Sony cut too many corners with the C500. They should have touch controls and atleast an ambient mode. Also why haven't you reviewed the Technics AZ40 or AZ60 earbuds? They're a better option then the JBL offerings and the AZ60 compete with the WF1000XM4 Lastly that "audio test" you do really doesn't so any of these buds any good. The earbuds clearly aren't getting a good seal or the mics just aren't good.
