Hi Ershaad... My biggest lament is i don't know how to preset or arrive at a good eq profile with these as i am not informed much about the various audio profiles... Can you please help me out with that and provide me with an allround profile for the eq application ? I'm not a basshead nor am i a mellow sound enthusiast.. i like a wide vibrant soundstage with just the right amount of punchy bass which should not be too overpowering as well on the vocals and background instruments.. can you please please help me out ?

Can somebody let me know if these changed equalizer settings remain on laptop or do they default to bass heavy setting ? Asking since laptop doesn't have app but I read in some review that they default to bass heavy on laptop.

Bro,in jbl 130nc, many youtubers claim and even in the amazon product page, it is given that Jbl 130nc has active noise cancellation "UPTO 40 DB".But even in the product cover or even in the jbl website, there is no mention that it supports active noise cancellation "UPTO 40DB"., ,just active noise cancellation is mentioned..range is not mentioned..my,doubt is ,then..from where the youtubers and even the amazon seller is claiming that 40 Db range,as its not mentioned in the jbl website, and also in the product cover?

You can use the EQ to increase the volume, it has a neutral sound stage and i changed it to a V curve

It's because of the drivers it's only 6mm

The earbuds worked fine for the first few months, but within nine months of purchase, the left earbud stopped working completely. It did not produce any sound or connect to my phone. I visited customer service center twice for the same issue, but I did not get any proper resolution or assistance. I was given vague and unsatisfactory answers saying that cleaning the earbuds with a toothpick or tweezers would solve the issue. When I asked if this was the suggestion given in the manual and whether I would not be held liable for any damage to the product caused due to this, for which the service center told me that I need to keep on visiting them if there is any issue and they can only clean the earbuds and give them back to me and there is no other alternative. Wow, JBL ear buds are amazing, and the service offered is fabulous and the explanation given by the service center technician is just out of the world. I just love going to the customer center every other day to get them cleaned. It's like having a car that needs constant oil changes instead of earphones.

I'm a little uncertain about the 230 NC. I'll have to wait until JBL is open to see if there's help. The sound is nice, but nothing like over the ear headphones. I've worn them for over 2 hours and they're very comfortable. I'm unable to connect to a windows PC with the Bluetooth. I'm also trying to figure out how to activate the noise cancellation without the app. The privacy policy that you must agree to in order to use the app basically says they have access to any and all of your personal information, and can give it to anybody they want. Here's an update: I contacted JBL and asked them if there was any way to activate noise cancellation and equalization without the app. They said no. I decided to keep my privacy and let them keep their headphones. I found a pair I like much better on Amazon. They're the Tozo NC2. To me, the sound is immensely better with greater clarity and much better base. to make matters even better, they're less than half the price.

I'm using JBL 230NC ... I've used Sony's XB Buds, Sennheiser's Momentum,Bose's QC as well as Airpods & Galaxy buds live. This JBL 230 NC is SURPRISING AF !! I COULDN'T EVEN BELIEVE HOW THESE ARE SOUNDING SO PREMIUM... By Default they are BASSy but if you tweak EQ in JBL App ... It'll provide altogether different stuffs...Highs and Mids are also there if you want to tweak'em... Considering the price... It's the BEST🔥

@@Protitoiy yes you can... But It'll pair with iPhone fast but not as fast as Android. Sound Signature will be still great... for iPhones there's nothing comes near to Airpods for Connectivity or Latency. You can give it a try though, You won't Regret considering it's price.

I got the 230NC free when I got my ALienware X14, I dissed them as a freebie...only to my surprise these kick butt! They sound better than many 10K TWS'....imho they even sound more full bodied and dynamic ( albiet the mid range is a bit coloured/scooped ) than the airpods Pro....for something thats 5k-ish or a freebie, this is insane...kudos JBL!

I was surprised too it my JBL tws 100 which is two year old sounded way better galaxy buds 2 they i mean galaxy buds 2 sound great but JBL is much wider and got even more bass.

Both are good and both have good sound quality and bass but in the one plus z2 sometimes u might here a hissing sound in anc and it may be a manufacturing defect i replaced my order 3 times and I got one without defect and now slowly it's starting to some again so I moved on to JBL 230nc no problems till now grate bass and every thing hope this help

Enco air 2 for sound quality and not so high base. JBL 230nc for good sound quality and good bass if u don't like bass in JBL 230nc u can adjust it weather u like base or don't but it's default settings also good I've been using JBL 230 nc for 7 months no issues so far crystal clear vocals and bass hope this helps

i ordered them today for 40€ + 5€ delivery so 45€ after everything Hope they are good i have heard good abt them!!!

@@sumit180288 sadly its true, but only for buds pro, it's one of the most uncomfortable and irritating pair of tws. But if you're going with buds 2 thn its good.

i picked up 130 though sound quality is great, i found volume to be on lower level than it should be, its fine inside but i feel like it should have been 10-20 percent more when i am outside...also both arent 5k, 130 is 4500 and 230 is around 6k

You can go for 130 bcoz of its big driver but if you are android user then 230 is also a good option as wevlet app will enhance its audio quality Now its upto you that you like which type of design

hi bro i have both of them if you want more refined sound go for jbl 230 if you want wildness in sound go for buds z2 both have their own advantage z2 are very loud 230 is on lower side but they have premium and refined sound z2 have on different level they are for everyone loud and wild

I have them and I can say that the microphone quality for calls is bad: if you use them somewhere where it is completely quiet (like the guy in the video) then they work ok for a phone call. But if you use them somewhere where there is a bit of noise, they are very bad. For example I tried to use them on a bus and there were very bad. And it was not even the case that people were talking around me. Also I was sitting far away from the engine, so there was no noise from the engine either. There was only the noise from the bus rolling on the street, so rather minimal noise, and yet the other person I was calling could not hear me anymore... Then I switched to my sony wh-1000xm5 and called again the other person on the same bus, same noise conditions and she could hear me perfectly... So I will return them because of the useless microphones.
