We had a 1st gen Echo in our master bathroom for listening to music in the morning kzread.infoUgkxABghAEkaIDGZfHRBH3D3rBrlraNmnC71 and while in the shower. I didn't realize how tinny and awful the sound output on the original Echo was until we replaced it with the Studio. It was a sonic upgrade far beyond what I was expecting. Just wow. I love it because it's like having speakers IN the shower. My friend likes it because the music is so loud that she can no longer hear me singing. So that's a win-win.

I was at a party and the house had this speaker. The sound was so amazing and just made people feel alive that I decided I need a party speaker for my home as well.

Yes!!! Oluv is an amazing youtuber and honestly my favorite! I love how simple and yet detailed his videos are. To most, Jimsreviewroom is impressive but to me, this channel is way more impressive and fleshes products way better out than anyone on the internet.

two wirelessly and if you have 4 you can either connet two pairs(the pair via wire) wirelessly or connec two pairs wirelessly and than connect them via wire

Jesper Valentin actually the jbl 1000 is the one in better position for the bass, it is on the floor. vifa is about 3 times smaller.

KZread is a really huge platform so its (in a way) kind of strange that this Oluv guy can fend off all competitors and still be The King of The hill after all these years! Out of curiosity, I've been watching other reviewers' videos and yours overall are by far THE most professional looking, informative, sound-accurate, and practical of them all. I really appreciate how far your technical expertise has come and the insight it gives you beyond saying "wow! this is cool!" or "it sounds ok". You give measurement data to backup your claims. On top of that, the sound I hear in my headphones is really close to what you are actually hearing! Love it! The quality of your reviews has really elevated my expectations when viewing other channels and, I'll be honest, I cringe when viewing/hearing other audio demos because they just aren't even close to being accurate. So, keep up the great work! These speaker companies really should be paying you to quality test and review their products PRIOR to being released to the public. At the very least, they could at least learn a thing or three from your methods. Excited to see what you review next! Have you ever considered reviewing bone-conduction headphones and/or vibration speakers? I realize they're in a different league, but I'd be interested to hear your first-person thoughts.

yes. this would be interesting. especially if the charge 2+ is still the sound quality king of that line. i remember well that charge 3 was a downgrade but added convenient features.

Very good review as usual. I personally think this is the best audio reviewer in youtube. May I suggest something for the next test? Have you heard of Sony Muteki MCH V90DW? Apparently this beast have 2000watt Somewhat "portable". It have rollers on the bottom that you can just "tilt and roll" A whole bunch of speakers A whole crazy bunch of LEDs, possibly laser lights. The thing is taller then an average men. And cheap as hell. I think it is cheaper then this JBL Partybox 1000. The thing have been out for like 2 years now if I am not wrong. But I haven't seen any properly done review on it.

This thing is a BEAST

Since it has almost the same approach like the party box 1000 I really would like to see a review of you for the Yamaha Stagepass 400 or 600 BT. Both at a lower price with a more professional approach but still suitable for making party via Bluetooth

Maybe you have to have the clap in order for the clap to feature work. Sorry for my english I am American. So it also comes with Pads that change color depending on cycle? Or Hertz? How low does it go? I heard that a Box with 2 small holes makes more noise then a box with one large hole due to Chuffing . Does this box sound Tight? Or is it Muddy? The box I have when you turn it on makes loud Thumps. I was told before you turn on, you need to pull out your device or you get loud noise. Very good review! Much thanks!

I'm listening with some old (~10 years) Bose Quiet Comfort (30?) noise-canceling headphones and every time you switched to the Partybox, the sound was so clear and balanced that it didn't seem that the sound was coming from my headphones but from the computer monitor in front of me. As if I was in your room on the sofa or the other room. With the Vifa, that wasn't the case. Interesting. Good review. I like your summary- it sounds good, but who would use this and how?

Actually that is a development/repair testing mode meant to diagnose anything wrong with the speaker for JBL professionals. It can damage the speaker if played at high enough volumes

It's meant for the backyard, I guess. Pool or bbq party

Love your reviews, the JBL100 looks like a winner this one not so much. Better to go with a pro JBL speaker like the PRX835W or 2 PRX812W (even better a QSC K12.2) for the same price if You are plugged in to a power source. And forget the Bluetooth, a QSC K12.2 and a wire connect, streaming Tidal High Res MQA...or the new Amazon Music ULTRA HD from a cellphone the comparing would be silly...and about $200 less :)

To be fair, yhe prx835w is tuned to hit only as low as 35Hz, then the bass starts to roll off. Not the case with the partybox 1000 (20Hz is easily audible)

You also did a test on the Audio pro drumfire. Who sounds best?

What alternative would you recommend instead of getting 2 party box 1000 on the same price range (2000 euros)? With the same goodies as the party box 1000 (self powered speaker and that kind of bass)?

Stuff the air port with acoustic sound foam to tame and also tune the bass. Even add a passive radiator. Air ported are tricky to control. In my headphones the JBL is beating the VIFA because it sounds like a more balanced mix plus VIFA has the advantage of stereo and JBL is hanging. Imagine 2 JBLs giving a stereo field.

@J B they are not PA speakers but still deliver so much power (1100 Watt) that it's more than enough to handle weddings ... just look at jbl's presentation with 10 of jbl 1000 speakers playing outdoor on a festival stage 😉 it's damn loud... even this reviewer didn't set it on max cuz it would smash his windows

My goal was to find loudest mf speaker with max bass that beats everything and is on battery so i think i did that, so mission complete i know though that there is partybox 310 out there which is a bit better, but not now.

they stay paired during standby, so you would not need to pair them everytime like you mentioned.

I really love this speaker , the only problem is , it doesn't sound good at high volumes ,
