The JBL is made for party's so it's prime task is being loud, and having a lot of bass. The Marshall is the choice for people who really listen to music, punchy midd, clear highs and a suitable amount of bass.

You can completely customise treble and bass on the tufton. Its a verry good outdoor speaker and even on parties it might get too loud for its own good. The party box is for when you want to go overkill on that and want to fill a whole partyhall with sound but it loses it punchy bass way quicker , beceause its designed to go loud. While the tufton is an allround speaker. Tho i would never go for the jbl 100 and go for the 300 instead, oh and also the partybox 100 isnt even in the same class as thetufton, i think the jbl boombox is the more suitable comparison

Hands down to Marshall as it does put up a good competition to the much bigger jbl

The best buy near me had these side by side. I went with the Tufton because the sound was so rich. JBL wasn't bad though. It's definitely a good party speaker which is what it's built for. But as for SQ, hands down Marshall wins

First comapre the portability of both, Tufton is much smaller and has a extra speaker on the back , the battery lasts me for ever, and the sound this little speaker gives is amazing

Marshall had so clear sound.
