By far the best review. You cut through the unnecessary crap and got down to the point. Also, giving a side note on why not to buy Beats 👍. However, some brands want their users to use the accessories provided in the box or by their company only, otherwise they won't work. You should try using the orange USB cable (seeing it completely packed i think you haven't done that already) given in the box to charge them.

Great Review. Helped me make my mind up.

I just got mine today, judging them for music production. I had an issue charging them with the Apple brick. I plugged them directly into my laptop and it’s been working great :)

@DCB 1990 Its better to use a couple of open backs for music production. These are great for travelling though!

Does your JBL Live 500 BT have a creaking sound (mechanical) while wearing it? Like just the slightest head movement it would creak? I got mine today and I find that irritating.

Can i plug this phone with the auxiliar cable on the PS4 controller?

my JBL UA don't charge with the aux cable plugged in ... pull it out and my cans will charge ... could be the same with Live 500bt

As a safety feature I would expect them not to charge while listening.

Safety feature. Why listen as it charges. If you go on headphones app, make sure the auto turn off isn't on or it will cut off after 5 or 10 min. My jbl live 500bt work great. EQ is good too. You can do manual EQ or select jazz, vocal, or bass sound. I use bass

does u battery last more than 30 hrs? cauz mine does not last even for 20 hrs

Okay so I took a look and they seem to be of good quality. And same price range as these Live 500s. Interesting because they look like they’re better build quality than some of the WH series ones I was looking at. I would go for which one you actually like more. Truthfully I have a feeling the XB700s are more comfortable than my JBLs because honestly they’re not that comfortable

Did you figured it out why your headphones were not charging because I'm trying to buy the same headphones lol.

Yes. Mine was weird because my brick was messed up. It charges up great now. 👍

is the sound leak a lot?

I just bought these headphones and my laptop is refusing to pair with them . When I switch the headphones on and I try get my laptop to try to detect and add the heaphones, it cannot scan them. I've been trying the whole day, please someone help me ASAP!!!!!

yeah and to me, theyre not comfortable at all. I think JBL could have spent a little more time on comfort level for these for sure.

They are waayyyy more comfortable than any of the beats! Much more deep bass too!
