*I have to say I'm incredibly impressed by the **Newest.Technology** sound that comes out of this thing, it's a relatively small form factor, but has no problem filling your room with amazing sound.*

There are definitely replacements for the battery. I actually took one of mine apart a few years ago, like 3 years ago. Ordered a battery from Amazon....took a couple times to find the right one, it is a 3.7v lithium battery, not a 7.4 (the first one I bought was 7.4). BTW, depending on when your Flip 2 was made, the batteries are different, old ones were 3.7v newer ones are 7.4v. I did end up having to desolder the connector on the original battery and put it on the new battery. The reason I'm looking at your video now is because I took this thing apart 3 years ago and never put it back together. I am doing so right now and after 3 or 4 times of assembling and disassembling it today I finally had to look at someone taking it apart. I'm happy to say that the speaker is now working fine again. I also replaced the battery on my JBL Charge 2 a couple years ago, that one was much easier since it was a bit bigger. Thanks for the teardown!

What are the specs of the speakers? I want to fix my Flip 2 but I want speakers that are as good as the originals, but one that will work on the Flip 2. Can't find what are the specs are exactly. Any speaker to recomend too?

Hi Saeid, you should be able to get a replacement from China for that. Aliexpress, Banggood or some other supplier in China will most likely have that battery. It might not be exactly the same, but as long as the voltage is correct and the size fits and the Ah/Wh is about the same it will work. You could also possibly use a small toy quadcopter battery in place of that. They are all the same chemistry so it should work fine.

@@silvioalvim I just solved it until today because my speaker does not open the same way as the one in the video even though it is the same model. I found one of the speakers was broken from the cone at the top, it had a small groove, so I used some instant glue around the top contour of the cone (like crazy glue) and that solved my problem

You should have got a new battery with similar specifications and changed it. You can change the port of the old battery to the new one.

The hard thing will be closing i think...
