I think the Sony needed to be placed stabbing the correct way because of its driver placements. Especially for bass, it needs to be placed with bottoms on top of a table to sound it's best

I agree. In person that's the best way to listen to it for sure. I originally did the audio test with it vertical, but on camera it sounded extremely muffled since the sound projects up instead of forward like the other speakers.

Thank you for another comprehensive comparison video!! For me: 1. JBL 2. Sony, and it works as a speaker phone. No point even considering the Bose because of the micro USB. Totally unacceptable in 2024!!

I sold my Bose because of the micro usb. We need to include the Tribit in the conversation. I do like my Sony and keep it in my home work station because of the phone feature

@@gtbigdog3507 - me too with the Sony's and I have a pair, that stereo set up makes them sound even better!! I think micro USB in 2024 is so outdated and Bose should have changed it by now!! How hard would it be to change it to USB C?!?

Sorry all but the Tribit StormBox Micro 2 kicks all these other speakers a$$e$ lol plus they're only like 59 bucks!

I have two of the Tribit. I also have the Sony and the JBL clip 4. The Tribit is a very strong speaker.

@@gtbigdog3507 indeed! Ive had some amazing small Bluetooth speakers from the UE Roll to the Minirigs 2.1 and the Tribit is a serious contender. It's also the smallest yet best sounding. Especially when you tune the sound with the app to unlock it's real potential. I actually am going to get one more for some beautiful/portable stereo sound on the go, while I'm biking

I tell you: CLIP5 plays LOUD ! It gives nice , rich sound and it is durable[once it fell off a shelf , 2metres, nothing wrong with it now:) ] I own Clip2[but not only] as well and I regard the line my favourite among JBL ones.

There's nothing rich about it Sony xb100 has much more bass and fuller sound of positioned correctly

I'll pick the Sony with all things considered including the mic that I see the reviews giving a thumbs up to. The Clip 5 was a bit irritating.

That sony speaker shouldn't be placed like that, it should be placed vertically for the passive radiator which is firing downward for the bass output, if you have put like that, then it would be the most bassiest speaker out of this bunch!

I know it's not designed to be laid down. I originally did the sound test with it vertical, and it sounded extremely muffled compared to the other speakers. I Figured facing the driver towards the camera would be the better way to compare.

I bought the Willen and I hated it , it sounded too Tinny zero punch, returned it , The Bose micro still only uses Micro usb which is pathetic. However the tribit Stormbox micro 2 surpasses all of the speakers you have mentioned in this video. , I have 2 you can pair them the JBL clip is fro kids, it is also in incapable of pairing in stereo . . Even the SOUNDCORE MINI 3 and the Klipsch ARE BETTER THAN the speakers on your list. Marshall is over priced and way overrated by KZread audio reviewers.
