my honest review - i walked into Best Buy simply because i enjoy looking around at new electronics, but i had absolutely no plans of actually buying anything. i ended up walking out with a new sound link micro because it was just that impressive to me. I was in the speakers section sampling all of the speakers and when i got to the micro, i did a double take because i thought i had pushed the button for one of the bigger speakers, but no, that great sound was actually coming from that tiny speaker. moral of the story is, that even though the micro has a tiny body, it has extremely impressive sound for its size. i listened to each of the other similarly sized speakers in the store but none of them could produce the sound quality that the micro did. this is only my opinion, but i hope it helps!

I got jbl 2 and now jbl 3 primarily for hiking... Jbl 2 was perfect in that regard but charging led started not to show on JBL 2 regularly so I returned it on extended warranty purchased and got JBL 3... I like look, buttons being out front, gray color of carribiner compared to jbl 2 ( especially orange carribiner which stood out too much ) I personally would choose jbl 3 because it's simply easier to attach to backpack, belt loops, or even on shirt buttons

How good is tje careabeener on top of the clip 3 my friend got it and said his broken after 3 days of owning it?

For the Bose I'm getting 5.8 hrs at full volume and 14.5 hrs at 50% volume. Bose advertise 6hrs at maximum volume. I suspect this guy hasn't actually carried out a battery life test.

i just got my jbl clip 3 Friday charged it up before use went to work started at 10 pm got out at 4 am used entire time at full blast speaker just started flashing to charge just as I was headed home 6 hours of play not bad at all and the Bluetooth rage is not bad either , it hasnt went dead so who knows how longer it would of went but it works great close to the 10 hrs perfect also can clip it to by pants loop and jam away

Have you tested or confirmed longer times. I just got clip 3 yesterday... Like it so far... Bluetooth range is greater than hearing range. I can easily get 100+ feet but cannot really hear anything useful at that distance other that specifically selected sounds to test... I'll do battery test later at full volume...

haven't tested it out to see how much longer it would of lasted hearing range not greatest but for me I use it at work in my little area I can hear it over a printing press and an inserting machine so loud enough when your close to it.

CLIP 3 sounds like FM Radio frequency. Static and very 2006ish. Returned it. It sounds as though something inside it has gone loose.

I bought bose micro and it sounds so great for its size.. but when i connect it with bose connect app it automaticaly update its firmware to 3.0.3 and the sounds became terrible.. I bring it to bose center and replace it with new one.. Piece of advice.. of you buy this bose micro please dont update the firmware, just be happy with the built in firmware. Worth the money for me at this time 🙂

I am in the market for bluetooth portable speaker that I could as a speakerphone. I end up with Bose because it has a switch to make it run continuously. JBL turns off by itself after 10 mins of no activity, and there is no way to let it run continuously.

Own the JBL one and have been around the Bose one. I don't need to use these speakers for hours on end so the battery is not that big of a deal. It's not like you cant plug it in somewhere right? Neither is their price point. Either you want it more than your money or you don't. Bose sounds way better so I'm going with that.

true rly i got a home amplyfier from onkyo same as my grandpa. He has bose speakers (surround 5.1) and i have jbl 5.1 surround... Just can say that his speakers are so much clearer and directs just sounds better. (just i have a larger subwoffer from jbl but cant compare that because it is a bigger one so ofcourse it is better). For my coumputer i bought Bose without thinking.

To be honest, the UE speakers are very clear sounding. To someone who likes bass, UE roll might not be the best option, but for someone who wants a clear, loud sound that isn’t taken over by bass, I’d still recommend UE. It just basically depends on what you want, and your taste of music!

Let’s be honest. Comparing these just by sound quality, the BOSE is just a bit better. Comparing these by sound to price ratio, the J B L is far, far better. I will always like the value of J B L and SONY products in comparison to all the competition.

I actually contacted Harmon kardon and asked why their high volume selling speaker didn't come jbl connect plus and got some bs scripted response that didn't answer my question. Their high volume selling speaker could sell in record numbers if it had the connect plus feature. O believe they thought it through and believed that the clip 3 would take sales away from their higher priced speakers. I believe it too . If you had 100 clip 3 speakers that could connect, why spend 400 dollars per speaker...

Bose battery life is way better than what is represented in this video.

At 50 percent volume , the Bose gives me around 10hrs. I haven't tried blaring it til it dies, it's plenty fine at half volume for me.

Got the JBL for 39€ had to buy it compares to bose 99€
