I would like to see them make the app with more sound options, a surround mode, 5-7 band equalizer and a lfm mode in the app instead of having to do it on the speaker itself and also it would also be nice if they added all the secret codes that you do on the speaker and put those options in the app.

But about the sonos products, what do you say, are you going to test them and tell us your impressions?

Excellent video Antwan. And I'll back this up also by saying, yes I know it's not a JBL speaker and I apologize but the Charge 5 absolutely CRUSHES the Bose Soundlink Flex. I have been watching comparison videos on those two speakers and to me, the Bose Soundlink Flex just sounds muddier and sounds like there's a towel draped over the speaker or something, if that makes sense.

Charge 5 is awesome, one of the best products I ever bought. I occasionally use it as a power bank for my phobe when my regular power bank is far from me.

Sound quality is pretty much the same between the Charge 5 and Wifi.

The tubular shape is essential for the sound. It's basically like them old school trunk tubes. The sound/vibration does not have to bounce off of 6 FLAT sided surfaces inside. Rather, the sound has a tube in which to smoothly spin inside of, thus providing those bass radiator on the ends. You would definitely lose that in a flat enclosure.

Looking at what JBL did with Xtreme 4, they will probably ditch USB A and will leave USB C (for charging) as the only outside port. And they will probably (hopefully) introduce easy access to the battery (just like they did with Xtreme 4).

i have the same mindset i got mine after july and mostly used it indoors but plan to use it outdoors once its hot outside. in doors its really loud at 40 to 50% volume thats good because that means that i can play it for like 3 or 4 days without charging it and outside usually 80 to 100 volume and that can last to 60% volume for 1or 2 hours of playing it so yeah cant really improve much on it, i dont think theres a reason to improve the battery life when i already barely charge this one.

Those rubber grommets people put on skateboard wheels so they can learn to balance stationary, thats what these need for the rolling problem cos whether it's a bed, a car or an outdoor setting, these things are gonna roll. Otherwise greatest speaker I've owned and honestly one of the most reliable and tough items in my inventory.

It’s a great sounding speaker but it is just a basic speaker with no feature. They should put back the aux in and the speaker phone feature.

People don't use the aux cord anymore my phone has an aux port but I stopped using it once I got the Free buds and the JBL speaker

@@zcnaipowered7407 i use the aux port for my portable dj setup. the aux port has its uses plus it dosent suffer from lag. people use them for tvs ect . i no the aux por then make the usb c port multifunctional or add another usb c audio input. either way it need a hardwireable input

Personally I think they should combine the best aspects of a flip6 and charge 5 to create and in between size speaker. The current speakers are so close in performance one could be eliminated. IMHO

Id like to see them get rid of those rubber strips on the bottom. Ive had a pair of Charge 5s for about 3yrs now and the rubber strips are falling off

I think a usb port for music out or maybe a microsd card port will be a great upgrade . Do not be every time dependent on the bluetooth phone .

The JBL Charge 6 will likely adopt the Xtreme 4 design cues and features since the Charge 5 looks like a smaller speaker with a design like the Xtreme 3.

Charge 5 was my first speaker I had I for a year before I bought the party box 100 then the flip 6 then a week later a xtreme 3. And just opened my party box 310

Charge 6 just needs to have 2 woofers and 2 tweeters to 1. Increase max volume output and 2. Give you that surround sound. Also hopefully they can make the battery better to where when you play at higher volumes it wont completely drain the battery out... that would be nice. I know these improvements would make it quite a bit bigger tho so might not happen.. Honestly thats all that Needs to be improved off of the charge 5 imo.. If i was to nitpick id also like for the charging port to be under the booty lmao but thats just me 😂

they will build in + BL 5.3 with LC3 Codec PartyBoost +AuraCast Option + USB PD fast charging =5V x 3A= 15W , 9V x 2A = 18W , 11V x 2A= 22W. But nothing more, I guess

Charge 5 is a great sound tried to make it with the charge 4 but moved on for the sound of the house music

Here’s an idea, charge 6 solar, where it has a foldout solar charging panel or something. Might not be a great idea but it would add something new to the lineup and would makes sense with the Branding!

Definitely the panel can be a separate accessory for the new charge 6 that users who want that functionality can get.

The Charge might kill the Flip but the Flip just has the perfecr form factor for me.

Hope will see Stereo sound....back. I'm shocked there's no simple stereo output from such a speaker. The original charge was stereo.... They went backwards for audio quality and only focused on watts and bass. Unless you spend twice to pair 2 of them in stereo more. Oh you can't do that if you have a charge 5 WiFi like I do.

Wonder if the post on Bluetooth speakers subreddit yesterday had anything to do with this video.

During my research it appears when inside stereo sound system is better. However when outside you need volume and power. If the track I am listening to is full of bass I need to hear that bass when outside. JBL 😂

@@vickyfh6493 in controllers yeah but in sound i dont really understand, it does take 1 second in delay to play but thats it, if i had to choose 1 thing i dont like about the speaker its that its mono and not stereo but thats not the speakers fault its already small and crammed with alot of stuff to make it sound good so i have no idea how they could make it stereo instead of mono. im use to listening to stuff on computer speakers so going from 2 to 1 is hard to get use to unless im listening to it in the backyard. other than that this speaker is great for jazz and anything with guitars or pianos. usually bass down 1 notch and treble all the way up and mid almost all the way up and thats what i use to make it sound right to my ears, although probably not good for eleric type of music.

No offence intended too Antwan, but with what you said about the speaker being flatter on the bottom and less round, in my opinion that wouldn't work either. Because if you have any type of incline, it's going to roll regardless.

@@echofooman2702 yes, Mono will lose alot of elements if youre listening to Drum and Bass or other genres that use left right stereo. (Rap or Pop wont make a difference with Mono) JBL charge 3 will sound more balanced compared to new JBL

While the charge 5 does sound better than the charge 4 I do agree they need to go back to stereo. There is just that added fidelity and cleaner sound that stereo provides when 2 or more drivers can handle more.

The battery life on these JBL speakers are a joke. Realize this before buying it. It’s really bad. It will charge your phone from 0%-80% then the speaker is dead 🤦🏼‍♂️. It’s so bad They really need to fix that

At first i used to love watching our beautiful black sisters showing their dance moves. After reflection i see different. Now Lets be honest most of the moves are repetitive and its a showcase for her body more than her dance moves. Its all supporting the degradation of the black female image.
