McIntosh C22 is the hands-down winner for me. It's warmer and more natural sounding to my ears. I found your channel because I'm wanting new speakers. This combination that you have here with the C35 speakers and horns/bullet tweeters is just wonderful. I may build the C35 speakers if I cannot find a pair. I'd like to more about this setup. What horns are you using and would like to know about the crossovers if you don't mind talking about them. Thanks for posting this video. Cheers -:Luther

Awesome, if you come across jbl c34 cabinet, i think its better than c35. i paired c35 with jbl d130 + 2441 driver +2350 horn + 075 tweeter. you can use the n1200 + 3105 crossover for the LF & HF. i use a custom crossover in my setup. similar results. soon, i'll upgrade to d130a and 077. Thank you for your response! Do you think the bass response of the C34 is as good as the C35? I've looked at the C34 speakers. Actually, I downloaded a set of plans for the C34 cabinets from JBL. I'm looking for the horns as well. Thank you! I noticed you have a Harman Kardon Citation 1 preamplifier. How do you like this preamp? I have a pair of Citation II power amps and for the preamp I have a Dynaco PAS-3 and Dynaco FM-3 tuner. I just need to get the speakers put together now. Currently, I'm using a pair of Acoustat Monitor IV speakers. Thank you for speaking with me! Cheers - Luther

I believe JBl c34 has better bass than c35 since outside box looks similar however abit different inside. It’s easier to DIY the c35. I heard the citation II and they very good. I like citation I for the phono stage. I haven’t get a chance to try the dyncaco PAS-3 preamp yet. Happy to help with any questions. Good luck with the cabinet build.

Apologies for the slow response! Are you on Instagram? I will stay in touch. I'm currently in the process of updating one of my PAS3 preamps - new porcelain sockets and power supply capacitor... and I may replace the rca connectors.
