I love it - I upgraded from the JBL Boombox 1 with skepticism but the Boombox 3 blows it away - double volume capacity and much higher quality across the board - bass, mids, highs all sound better.

I mean, even through the charge 4, this sound test boomed! Bass is clear. Treble is supreme and mids are well balanced.

It is definitely great for watching movies. Like I said in the video, it easily beats my sound bar as it gets extremely loud with no compression at high volumes with amazing clean sound and vocals.

I have two of these sitting next to my tv. Waaaaay better than any soundbar, those are not capable of producing decent bass at all. As to clarity, well, I can't really complain, but you have to understand that these boomboxes are rather made for listening to music than to people speaking in movies. But as I said, I can't complain, though I'm sure someone deep into real high quality sound testing and such would not be satisfied with it. I'm not that guy, so I'm completely satisfied. Besides, I have a portable audio system I can take with me anywhere I need to and use it for up to a day without a power source. That's very much unlike a home cinema system or a soundbar, which just sits there in your living room and can only serve one purpose. As far as I am concerned, it's a much better value for my money, both in quality and usability.

@silverpro8356 I would be able to, but there is absolutely no point of doing so, as a video can in no way give back the sound quality of any kind of speaker at all. Depending on where you live, by large retailers, you can send back an article purchased online within a certain time frame. I live in Belgium, here I have between 14 and 30 days (depending on the retailer, but minimum 14 days) to send back anything I buy online and get a full refund. I do this all the time. Have to make sure that both the packaging and the article itself is in mint condition though, otherwise they'll deduct a part of your money.

@@M-M-M-M I would much rather have a soundbar and sub and a good one at that, but the boombox can probably do the job too.

Sir I bought the Boombox 2, I was going to get the BB3. But I got an amazing deal for the BB2, I got it for $279 brand new on Ebay, $315 after taxes.
