Nice job, I also did speakers sometimes, I would have sprayed with black spray the midrange speakers so they look new.

Built new boxes... I've seen Mr. Electricity revive the old rotten press wood before by hardening it with wood hardener, I wonder if that method failed and the boxes still crumbled apart. Additionally, no corner reinforcements? Once these boxes start vibrating, there won't be much structural support. It would be nice to see these restores again after some time to see if they actually held together

You should put dimensions of the enclosure in description

Acidic soil should at least cover the iron base and wash the plastic and so on before painting.. The paint on the dirt won't last long. And you repair and restore so well, but you can do better, that you won't even find fault! Good luck!

It's not shocking anymore however, it still baffles how even a high end manufacturer like JBL uses absolutely no quality materials when initially building these products. There's what... $10 worth of material in both of these speakers? Sold for approx $500 at sale?

This is some asian export junk, never seen them in US or EU. But even JBL had some dog poo speakers over the years.

Truthfully, your cabinet building is so sloppy and unprofessional. Way to much glue, you didn't clap the units at all etc. 👎

Not sure I like the turd brown (from age) midranges being reused with the caps being crushed.

You are better off getting all new hardware instead of trying to reuse these old relics!
