Are the fuel wires mandatory to connect? I’m going jb4 for a few months then full tune

So u dont need to connect the small black wires?

Much easier to run the obd2 cord through fire wall and main harness grommet. There were definitely a few additional steps not needed like removing break booster housing , this install shouldn't take more than half hour for a first timer. I can do mine in a matter of minutes (I remove mine for winter months or warranty work )

No as long as you keep it safe. I run jb4 without any mod or even HE. Running on map2 using 94 octane. The boost is great.

Hi, do you think the obd2 wire is long enough to route from the same location to the obd2 port on a rhd Q60?

Or would it be possible to wire up the sensor piggy backs on the opposite sides, and install the unit on the left of the bay?

You can also place the JB4 Tuner in a place where it will not heat up and the billet box has holes designed for zip ties/straps to secure where you want.

I was told to disconnect the jb4 before you go to the dealer

Disconnect it. The issue is if you have the EWG wires, they will painful to remove and plug again. I spent 1 hour each time trying to remove them

So far I have not used the fuel wires. I'm going to go step by step and do intake upgrade then add the fuel wires when I go to the track and test it all out with a Race Fuel mix.
