Very good review - - I’ve never understood this strap or why they would allow you to put a $12,000 saxophone on a hook that doesn’t close or lock. I would actually change this to a locking hook.

Excellent review. I have been using one for about 1.5 years, and I do love it, but I can't bend it easily to make it fit better. I have long hair, and I find it gets in the way, so I have to put my hair up. Still, way better than having strain on my neck. =)

Very good review. I bought one of these a few months ago. I would only say I think they are great if you are playing standing up but the thing is awkward and uncomfortable if you try and use it playing while seated.

I saw lots of good reviews on this neck strap but the only problem I see here is I can't leave the saxophone on my neck with no hands cause it will drop down and it is very dangerous cause the saxophone is very heavy.

Hi. This is what I thought at first and was reluctant to buy one but my sax friend recommended it to me. After using it for many months I have not had any problems with it. It has a locking mechanism which keeps the arms together around your neck and the weight of the saxophone and the hook shape of the arms which wrap around your shoulders stop the neck strap from coming off the shoulders. The neck strap would have to break or the locking mechanism would have to come undone for the sax to drop. Also you would have to bend over a great deal for the strap to slip off your neck. I have several neck straps and this is my favourite. It is not so good when playing the sax at the side. I leave the sax hands free but only for short periods such as when changing reeds, but I do the same with regular neck straps. Maybe try it out at a shop. Thanks
