Judith Hill hat schon mit den großen Stars gearbeitet. Prince zählte die Sängerin bis zuletzt zu seinen engsten Vertrauten und produzierte 2016 ihr Debütalbum. Als Background-Sängerin trat sie schon Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, George Benson und vielen anderen auf.
In ihrer eigenen Musik nimmt Hill das Publikum mit auf eine Exkursion durch den afroamerikanischen Pop. Psychedelischer Funk, erdiger Soul, Rhythm & Blues und gefühlvolle Piano-Balladen verschmelzen zu einem unverkennbaren Sound, und über allem schwebt Hills Stimme, mal hauchig zart, mal kraftvoll schmetternd.
Die Grammy-prämierte Judith Hill verbindet mit ihrer Musik die Generationen: Ihre Eltern, der Bassist Peewee und die Pianistin Michiko Hill, sind Teil ihrer Tourband. Ein funky Familienfest, bei dem alle zum Mitfeiern eingeladen sind.
