To think that 2Pac was 20 years old when he wrote this is beyond mind blowing
Tupac was a revolutionary, visionary and extremly poetic man. One of the most important figures in hip hop, ever! Suggestions for listening (even if we don't get a reaction): Changes Dear Mama Keep ya head up
Dear Mama is also a must to get a further glimpse into Pac's poetry
2pac was a musical genius. 'Changes' 'I ain't mad at Cha' 'Life goes On' are also brilliant pieces. Great work

Yess !!
Tupac is and always will be my all time favorite. Always rapped with passion and his lyrics took you on a journey or brought you into the tracks in the best way.
Your improvised playing was so good! Omg 🔥
2pac = G.O.A.T. Such an artist, poet, visionair, the best of all time at such young age.. Please do more 2pac songs! Dear mama, changes, keep ya head up
Just wanted to say I've been enjoying this whole hip-hop journey. Every day I'm anticipating what might be next.
I teach his poetry in class. Brilliant ....
That improv solo over the ending instrumental was very moving and worked well ..thank you for that.. What a great song for practicing over…
Loved the piano riffs at the end there, David! This is one of my favorite rap songs of all time. Tupac was revolutionary
OMG I absolutely love how you played along with the song!! You took it to an entirely different level!!! Thank you so much for sharing!!! ❤❤❤
I can remember when this was released in the 1990’s when I was a teenager and I instantly loved it! I had no family support and I also became a mother at the age of 16 and I also had my first daughter at home but fast forward 30 years and my daughter is a successful woman( and I’m still married to her dad) The day I gave birth to my daughter I knew I would be there for her always but I can see first hand how things like this can happen to people who have no guidance and the family they do have seriously let them down!

Gotta react to Keep Ya Head Up by Pac
I like your additions with the piano
I'm not a big Hip Hop listener, But Tupac i can listen to everyday and i enjoy his music he was 100% real. Songs that have a message in them. I loved what he believed in and his perspective on what needs to change. I believe if he was still with us he would have started the change that is so needed with his plans of a youth center to him picking up the work of The Black panther's as well as the music he would have kept producing and the films he would have created. I think he was a diamond in the rough and as Tupac would say A flower growing from the concrete. 100% Tupac was poetic, influential in 90's Hip Hop music for sure and absolutely revolutionary and highly intelligent beyond his years. this world was blessed to have Tupac in it, for me he is the greatest Hip Hop artist of all time. Tupac music was on another level to everyone else, he is a legend. RIP Tupac I loved listening to you play it was beautiful, I am a new subscriber and stumbled onto your channel today, because i love watching people react to Tupac that haven't heard his music and them appreicate his music.
I already get emotional whenever I hear this song your instrumental added to the realness of this. Sadly it is still happening everyday. Not enough people are talking about it. Which is why 2 Pac made this song about this very true story.
Listening to Tupac. Hearing what hip hop used to be and now seeing what it has become. I weep for the lack of Tupac types in the current rap scene.

Really appreciate all of your videos. Great mix of breaking down what’s going on musically, lyrics, what was going on at the time of recording.

I mean the song was so powerful, I’d have to be dead not to make something meaningful out of it!
Fantastic reaction. Such a shame 2Pac was lost so young. And such a shame the state of this world where people are interested and "follow" empty celebrities. Where people spend their waking hours chasing money, fame, fortune. We have to be better than that. Help someone today. It doesn't have to be a huge big thing. Give an ear to someones pain. Be compassionate. Walk along with someone. Look them in the eye and say you care. ❤

I see you love good vocal harmonies and arrangements. Go on a KZread journey with The Clark Sisters. You will love them. Especially their work produced by Donald Lawrence. Their solo work is phenomenal also.

Avantdale Bowling Club is so good! Tons of Kendrick inspiration with full live jazz instrumentation. Would really love a reaction to f(r)iends!
More 2pac!!
Dear Mama from Tupac next. Please!
I watched this right after your reaction to U.N.I.T.Y. On your own, I think you should listen to Tupac's "Keep Ya Head Up". Another socially conscious, woman empowering masterpiece.

Welcome!
The youtube channel “Soft White Underbelly” does a pretty good job giving a voice and platform to people who have gone through similar experiences (sometimes worse). People really do need to be aware that these things a very real and continue to happen to this day.
Is that song in the beginning Elton John - Someone Saved My Life Tonight?

My bro!
This actually happened in black communities but we didn’t speak about it smh. Trauma for generations smh
Well it's one side of Shakur anyways. Then there was the whole gangster "thug life" thing and we all know how that ended.
You don’t do a lot of hip hop bc it sucks ;) but 2pac is a legend so I’ll let this one slide lol
