I had just blind bought a bottle of jazz club because it was in sale and I looked at all the reviews I could find, I thought that it was worth blind buying for my boyfriend for the holidays and I was not disappointed. When I received the bottle, I hadn’t even opened the package that I smelled the fragrance through it and it had not leaked, the smell was not overpowering, just delicate and very present. When I sprayed it on my hand it was definitely not what I had expected from the reviews, I was expecting a really strong tobacco scent with a whisky kinda touch, something that would remind me of a crowded jazz club that’s full of men drinking whisky and smoking cigars, but it’s really not that and I was pleasantly surprised. It smelled like a very chill jazz club with a few classy men seated in a few comfortable sofas, talking inaudibly, sipping on some expensive cocktails with a slow jazz song as background music with some low lights creating a nice mood lighting. And no one smoking cigars. In fact I don’t really smell the tobacco, so the note is very well mixed into it. It smells like a light very classy chique fragrance. The smell of alcoholic cocktails is really comforting as it gives me the impression of melting in a warm sofa while sipping on a nice cocktail and starting to fall asleep as it is very relaxing. The longevity seems to be absolutely great, i put one little spray on my hand over 4 hours ago and washed my hands and it still smells as present and strong as when i sprayed it so i know it will most likely last until tomorrow. And it is great because it's strong and present but it's not overpowering so it isn't "too strong" and definitely doesn't give a headache, to me, it is the perfect amount of projection. I’m really happy to have blind bought this fragrance and will definitely wear it myself and share it with my boyfriend as I think it is a leaning masculine fragrance that I believe would be great to smell on a partner, but it is still unisex enough for me to wear it, and I just love it so I want to keep smelling it anyway. Thank you for giving this review, this fragrance was a very nice discovery!

One of the best fragrances of all time.

I finally was able to test it out... it actually surprised me a lot.... I also thought it was going to be Smokey. And I was so surprised. I believe it to be a beautiful fragrance... it lasted about 8 hours on my skin, but very close to it... it should be on a lot of fall, spring lists...

I'm a little late to the Replica line. I just got samples of jazz club, fireplace and barber. Btf was too sweet for me which was dissapointing, especially when it -8 outside. Wonderful fragrance. One of the stars of my collection.

I paid £85 back in autumn 2016 before the price slightly increased in 2017. I absolutely love it and remember having a test strip of it for a few months in my drawer and always going to smell it. I actually love the way it wears light and comforting. I also love the bottle design, hoping to add by the fireplace to my collection from the brand. Great review man.

I wish this was more talked about rather than dolce and Gabbana the one EDP. I blind bought d&c because of KZread hype and recommendations and yeah I like it, I give it a 7/10. But jazz club is waaaaay better, refined and mature (9.5/10). I wish I found out about jazz club first because I would’ve got it and I think it’s redundant to have both in my collection.

Looking forward to trying this one and By The Fireplace, I just picked up a set of 10 x 2ml samples from this house which is available for £25.

About the same notes that I got when I tried this last month in a local Sephora. What’s interesting was when I layered this with By the Fireside and that just rounded it out for me. Really like both separately but it was so much heavier and creamier layered.

Pretty accurate take on this. I sprayed this on at Fenwicks about a month back. Expected it to be super thick tobacco. However it reminded of me of being on holiday at a beach at night, popping into cocktail bars and such. The name isnt accurate for me. "Beach walk: By night" is more appropriate. Good take and nice juice ✌

perfect perfume, even girls want to wear it:)))

just got my first bottle. Very subtle maybe a touch too subtle for me as I prefer a heavy Tom Ford hit!

The beautiful rum, vanilla and tobacco combo that creates the hint of coconut, reminds me of the aroma of the delicious Plantation XO 20th Anniversary Rum, but instead of the tobacco in Jazz Club, you get a french oak finnish that almost gives it some of the same spicy/smokey vibe as the tobacco. If you like rum and Jazz Club, you'll love Plantation and vice versa 🙂 BTW: I love how the top of the bottle looks like a small oil lamp 😀

omg, when i smelled it it reminded me of butter, but not in a good way. Do you guys know what makes it buttery ? like what notes and all? I would really appreciate it

When i hear tobacco and rum i was worried it might be overpowering like the overhyped D&G The One EDP.... but this is wayyy different

Both are delightful!

Smells mostly like warm sweet vanilla rum on my skin. Bit coconutty. I prefer it with By The Fireplace to add some chestnutty marshmellow.

This frag is very nice. I compare this to Pure Havane, maybe a toned down Naxos without the honey. Regardless, Jazz Club is damn fine, and I own two bottles. Would love to smell By the Fireplace!

Yes it's a great addition to any tobacco lovers collection. By The Fireplace is rich and resinous with a mouth watering roasted chestnut accord.

@@farewelltome. for work just neck and back of neck, if I’m heading out for dinner or bar then neck, back of neck, 2 on chest, wrists, probably excessive but I’ve gone through so many bottles I can’t really smell it on myself as much as I used to, I’ve tried plenty more Replica fragrances and honestly By The Fireplace is my preference now from that range 😁

They are kind of similar. This one is more mature with a stronger tobacco. One thing that I cannot understand is why I smell coconut in Jazz Club. It is not in the fragrance description. Jazz Club has also a mich stronger sillage, compared to the One EDT.

Which fragance do you think is better, Jazz Club or Tom Ford Noir Extreme? Which one of the two has better performance?

Another good review. I would love your opinion on a fragrance that really is the most unique and gorgeous scent I've ever smelt. I went to house of fraser and tryed on (skin) Baccarat rouge 540 by Maison Francis kurkdjian. It dances on your skin its weird I know hard to describe this scent sweet, woody, fresh, warm, it's like smelling crushed Ruby's. I can only say it's not the smell it's an experience trying this unisex fragrance. Fell in love at first whiff, and purchased a bottle (not cheap £190)50ml. But for me totally worth every penny for this very special occasions. If you could get sample and give your expert opinion on this fragrance would be great. All the best paul

Please tell me, does this have even hints of honeys. If it does then I can't get it. I love fruity sweet tobacco and spices but I HATE the note of honey in frags. If there isn't any, then I might get it.

Great review, I have sampled this and just ordered a bottle for a great price. Like you said it’s far more versatile than I expected. I have tried BTF which is on my wish list. One question - BTF or Memoirs of a Trespasser? I tried the latter the other day and feel both might be redundant.

Jazz club is lighter version of CK Liquid Gold ,, strange how it's not get compared to Ck LG in fragrantica

You know what? I think it smells really close to Bvlgari Man in Black on the dry down.

It's been a while since I smelled Jazz Club (coincidentally, also at Manchester Airport) and I thought I might buy it when my Chanel Bleu ran out. Fast forward and I've got it in my basket (It's currently £82 delivered at Feel Unique which I thought was decent), and I was on the fence about pulling the trigger as I couldn't quite remember the smell. I got three minutes into this video and just hit that big pay button haha

Do you think younger men could wear this? I am 21, ? Or is it more olderman fragrance?

Just bought it today and I realized they made the bottles smaller. Bought music festival in 2021 and now 2024. The 100ml is smaller. I wonder if the company is saying it is 100ml and it’s actually not anymore.

I also sampled it at Manchester Airport 2 months ago, liked it but didn't splash out. Very likable juice though.

Do you mean Black Orchid or Tuscan Leather? TL has a great clone called La Yuqawam and a good Black Orchid clone is Oud 24 hours.

Agree , la yuqawam isn't cheap buts its identical to Tuscan leather and it doesn't give me A rash like Tuscan leather

FRAG-MENTAL Yeah. When I wore it yesterday it was way too heavy on the Rose. But, today I am getting lots of Raspberry and black currant. It is great. I walked into the convenience store and the woman working went nuts over it and she called over another employee and that woman loved it, as well. So, very good reactions so far and I just love the raspberry and black currant with the rose, incense and patchouli.

Tried it....not unusual. It reminded me of 2 fragrances that I own already, even their Tuberose smells exactly like Noir de Noir.... BTW, I am very surprised to see that most perfume reviewers keep their fragrances in the open?..... Fragrances, like a good wine, should be kept in the dark and in a dry place, specially when you own that many fragrances that you want to wear over the next few years....just saying...... fragrances do go bad, bathroom being the worst place to keep your fragrances.
