Building a car ain't cheap. For a somewhat hot race engine for my truck and all the supporting mods including transmission, drive shaft, axle upgrade, and procharger I'm looking at 32 thousand bucks.

When I saw the skeleton hand on heart my first thought was "look, it's bob's grandpa" lol. Glad to see you got a fuel tank for Betsy, it's always exciting when you can go and buy race car stuff for your car hopefully soon you either get the slant 6 running or you get the big block put together, it'll be great to see it driving around

SIM the others are correct your original fuel line will be WAY too small especially once the "big block" gets installed... not sure of the power your trying to start with but just go with a huge fuel line and return now and save the multiple fuel line changes you will do with every motor upgrade... A great site to watch is Sloppy mechanics... he just built a Colorado turbo out of a junk 6.0 van motor and got over a 1,000 hp.... he has a video vault you can go to and watch and learn... he builds huge power for CHEAP!!! He also had to do major fuel line upgrades as the power kept getting more and more... SLOPPY MECHANICS...

I'd buy a roll of aluminum line and run it along the frame of the car, speedway has it for a pretty good price

Curious what you currently drive to school. What ever it is you should be at the track every weekend with it to bracket race. You need experience man. You have a false sense of street racing watching these shows.

ZZ430T56 So true !! definitely need to do a lot of bracket racing to get familiar with the car before you try to line it up on the street. All these guys on the TV show did a lot of track racing no matter what they have you believe.
