If you’ve been watching any Celtics games so far this season, you know just how ELITE Jayson Tatum is. He hasn’t put up crazy point numbers just yet, but look at his game. The man has been playmaking at an unreal level, becoming a two way monster, and my favorite of all, he’s been going to the post game a little more. Sam Cassell was a great hire by Boston. You can tell his work with Tatum has helped. One thing I will say - that side step three shouldn’t be taken as much. Tatum is a great catch and shoot 3 point shooter, so I’d like to see some more of that instead of that inside out step back. Regardless, he’s elite.

The side step three on the left wing is where he is lethal. That’s his spot. I think once he stops complaining and realize the refs will not call everything he can be more elite.

I love his game and he has a little to no weaknesses. The only thing that I don’t like is that he settles too much for three-pointers and jump shots. I feel like he should average 10 free throws the game. it was said by Steven when he was a coach that he grew 2 inches during his first few years of playing. If that’s the case he’s walking around at 6’10 220. He’s too big and strong to be settling for jumpers.

He doesn't need to put up crazy numbers. If he were on a bad team, he'd be scoring 35 a game. But he's not. He only needs to go god mode once in a while because there are multiple 30-point threats on Boston.

What’s amazing about his game is it’s all craft. It’s not like he’s the fastest or most athletic but he is surgical with his moves and efficiency with his dribbles. I love watching his game evolve every year. He from my hometown #St.LouisMade

JT's percentage on side step and setback 3s are actually higher than his percentage on pull ups, and spot ups..He's just now becoming more reliable on catch and shoot. the side steps and stepbaacks are his rhythm Shots that he makes from elbows specifically. We don't want him to stop taking a shot he's been effective with. We just want him not taking them when his shot is not on and opt to drive instead., A guy like Tatum is not going to get very many SPOT up opportunities for 3

Tatum has transformed his body like Giannis and is as smooth as peak Peal George. His style is not as entertaining as Jaylen Brown who has kyrie like reflexes and explosive speed and dunks but Tatum is bigger, stronger, more consistent efficient scorer and defender. Both players are my favorite but if one has to be crowned, it will be Tatum.

It kills me that you have so called expert's throwing shade at jt for mvp cause he's not putting up high scoring numbers! Which is crazy, cause if you know anything about the game, the fact that he is taking a hit on scoring purposely for the benefit of the team! All while still putting up good numbers but doing everything else the team needs him to do, to me that is a mvp when you can sacrifice your personal achievements, it just shows hes wants that ring more than the mvp and I love him for that. The dude is a perfect role model for the young bucks coming up
