To this day I am still bewildered by AA's ouster. This current management has been given much more chances to put a winning product than AA ever had and AA at least was getting results. This current group is driving the team from bad to worse.

Shapiro and Atkins are a two-man Wrecking Crew. It is likely that Son of Rogers wants to sell a crippled franchise back to MLB for relocation to the USA. This is the only theory that makes any sense as to WHY Shapiro et al are still holding jobs with the Blue Jays. Renovations are a smoke screen for hopelessly suckered Jays fans. Just another game where the Jays snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. A buddy and I were deep into making plans for a cross country trip to Toronto later this summer to attend some games, and generally spend money. Well, all plans are now officially binned. We can’t see spending any money on a team that won’t make the playoffs. Mariners, here we come.

Get rid of Springer, Vogelbach, Pearson, and John Schneider and Ross Atkins. The Orioles had alot of young players last year when are they going to bring up our younger players from triple A. They surely can't be much worse then these so called professionals.

I remember when Shapiro was hired , his favourite saying was, I paraphrase - " We're going to build a team that will not only compete and win for one year but compete for many years to come" as if it's a dig at Alex Anthoupoulous' management style. Right now I'd settle for one year of a successful playoff run in Shapiro's tenure and he hasn't even done that.

Buck Martinez usually is diplomatic and toes the party line, but today you could hear his frustration and even some of his pointed comments about the "performance" of these players.

There is zero accountability on this team. From management to the players. Until something is done, nothing will change

I didn't know Atkins addressed the media today, but when I saw the title of this video and found out, before even watching I already knew what he said. "we still really like the group we have...blah..blah..blah".

You guys are far and away the best analysts that the Jays have, outside of the organization. Real talk and dialogue that really is fun to listen to. Nicely done and keep it going through what will inevitably be a rebuilding project in the near future.

When you ignore your weaknesses every off-season and don't replace your actual good hitters what do you expect. The Guriel Moreno and Hernandez trades ruined this team.

In the first and seventh or eighth innings they had a man on second with nobody out. If you play little ball you are almost guaranteed to get a run. But no, they swing away and blow it. Both times they would have scored a run if they bunted. In this situation you move the guy around. The Jays could have easily won 6 to 5. Also it was obvious that Gausman did not have his best stuff. He struggled and should have been on a short string in his last inning.

The Blue Jays are successful - they are succeeding at getting their manager fired. Way to go guys.

The bullpen is definitely something they need to deal with. The choice between Swanson and Pearson is a roll of the dice for either of them not to blow a lead. I wish there was some exciting news like they sign Trevor Bauer and have him as a 7th 8th inning guy rather than signing retired players to minor league contracts. The last couple years have been dreadful watching the traded players flourish and the retained players struggle. At least the starting pitchers are pulling their weight like they should be.

Yeah enough is enough.

Just as I predicted a week before the season started, I told my wife, "The Jays will pick up exactly where they left off last season".

Attitude needs to change and get in swing mode - it is NOT acceptable to lose, but the jays sure make it look like it is............

The fact Atkins and the Jays’ hitting strategists are still employed is mind boggling. Also, why did the Jays bring in Don Mattingly who had one winning season in 7 years with Miami? If Rogers were serious, they would have brought in people with a track record of winning. The Os and Rangers did that and the results speak for themselves. This team is unwatchable.

I'm okay with today's game. My expectations have sunk to where a fun loss is at least a step up from the usual boring loss.

The silver lining is we have a large number of blue chip trade chips. Turner, Jansen, take your choice of the infield and 2 of the big 4 pitchers and Springer if he gets hot. Time to to get younger and more talented, Time to poach other team's best prospects.

As fucked up as it may seem but this is far from rock bottom. And I don't see the first order of business being to blow it up and trade everyone after spending hundreds of millions of dollars on the new ballpark... This is the team and if they make trades it won't be until the deadline and it will only be smaller trades
