Adoption is fabulous and what a gift she has given to children, love and care. Brilliant. I admire her.

This is wonderful to hear. I also adopted in my forties as a single person....and it has been a wonderful experience for us both. A huge shout out to local social services departments who always get such a bad rap when things go wrong....but do so much wonderful good stuff most of the rest of the time that people don't hear about. My team also made a perfect match for me and my daughter.....she came to live with me at 4 years old and is now a fabulous 20 year old at uni. Xxx

That such a beautiful and talented person couldn't recreate breaks my heart...that she could, and did, adopt goes a long way to healing things....

It is not unusual for a female athlete to encounter difficulty with reproduction. I went through a phase of dedication at my health club and my menstrual cycle shut down, temporary but startling at the time. Of course that was nothing compared to Jayne's career. I am sorry that she suffered anguish trying for childbirth when she has given us so much joy. I am glad that she found happiness in adoption. There is never a guarantee for any woman to bear children so I am glad for her sake that she did not abandon skating.

Yes very lucky Jayne I had a hysterectomy six weeks after we married and yes it went wrong and I became desperately ill for most of my life so adoption was not possible for us but we are still together still in love so sadness and joy ! Who can say what might have been !

Elle est vraiment magnifique, sur lq glace comme en dehors, elle avait besoin d'avoir des enfants, les enfants qu'elle et son mari Phil ont adopter avaient besoin de parents, son vœu s'est réaliser, elle le méritait, je suis sûre qu'ils sont heureux ensemble
