I’m OBSESSED with her ear! Her vocal choices are so so pro! After that performance, there was zero question that she was making it! She’s in my top 3 just based on vocal ability. SHE ATE THAT UP!

100% agree, in her audition I heard big voices like Barbara Streisand and Anita Baker in her voice and it gave me goosebumps she does it so effortlessly and she looks gorgeous......wow what a transformation .......look at what self belief and loving yourself can do......I can't even remember the person she was in the last show...wow, she deserves this so much, and she is in my top 3!

She has grown but they have to paint a story like she was sub par last year. She was a threat to the top 5 and could a beat iam and We Ani. Idol has a history of holding back good talent for the next year to ensure a good season.

I agree Brandon. These talent type shows paint a bunch of human interest scenarios for views and they steer the final contestants in a mix to create the scenarios they want. This does not usually create future singing stars but instead just viewership and advertising dollars. Jayna has been that girl since she was 14 years of age (America's Got Talent). Katy gave me scared of the obvious talent vibes versus her particular favorites
