Great to hear guys. Love you impressions/feelings on things like the movement while parked & the stability whilst driving. And the vibrations of washing machine - all these things are rarely thought about whilst looking at a shiny new motorhome in the dealer. Well done Scott

We found that by using velcro dots we could cut out pieces of Foil back insulation and stick them into all the backs of our food cupboards thus making them much cooler as the sides of the van get very hot as well.

Hi. Is your model the ‘Optimum’ version which has the diesel heater and some other upgrades?

Drove a 38' RV in Alaska ina good cross wind. It was like an americas cup yacht under spinnaker. It could push you across the road easily . RVs and wind mean CAUTION.

Another great video - really practical review of living in the van. Getting some great destination ideas for when we get our Motorhome. I am struggling to find a video for the Conquest motor homes showing how low the drop down bed goes (assuming you lower the table fully etc) i.e. what's the lowest it can go?

Drops to the level of sitting area if cushions are removed. The overhead cabinet base drops down into cushion space.

Hi and thanks for sharing, I currently have a jayco silverline caravan and I'm thinking of changing to a motor home, I have a couple of questions I assume table and chairs go into the luton peak ? where could I store a bbq say weber q ? and lastly I tilt my awning with one side down to avoid pooling in rain, what do you do with yours ? keep the videos coming Phil

  • @headsortailsmotorhometravels77

Hi Phil, spot on, the chairs and table go up in the luton peak. Storage for a BBQ is probably an issue. you could place it on the floor under the dining table when you travel. We did that in the past with the smaller MH. At our hand over, the Jayco sales rep tilted the awning for us, for the rain to run off and we left it just like that. Thanks for the message.

I was wondering if once you have loaded everything, including full fuel and water tanks as well as yourselves, in to your jayco motorhome, whether you have considered taking it to a weighbridge to check the loaded weight hasn’t exceeded the vehicles GVM ?

Hi, no we have not weighed this one yet. We had the little motorhome weighed. It is something we will get around to.

Hi we have the same model MS24-4 in the Optimum range. We love ours. We have the swivel seats but had to remove the backboard on the passenger seat to get it to swivel right around as Jayco cut the board 2cm too high.

In regards to the top cupboards have you heard rattling noise, and found a way to reduce the noise of rattling cups n sauces?

Cheap solution. = The fabric ?? material used as a grip for opening bottles or non slip can be cut to small pieces and used as a anti rattle and antislip mat.

Hi guys, I've watched a few of your videos but haven't seen the one where you decide to upgrade from the RM20.5. Are you happy to share the reasons here?

  • @headsortailsmotorhometravels77

Of course. We were going to do full time until we had to come home because of our tenants. During our full time we realised we needed more room to make our experience easier for both of us. We both loved our 20-5 but decided full time living in it would be hard for us.

Small washing machines dont cater to small loads. Its out of balance. Like putting one towel into a big machine. Van park machines and dryers can be a alternative

  • @headsortailsmotorhometravels77

    @headsortailsmotorhometravels77

Definitely agree with you, we tend to alternate between the washing machine in the van and then also use the ones at van parks if we have a big load of washing to do.
