I don't know how long you've played but in like season 2 or 3, I believe Boxbox discovered Riven could insta-base if you spamed B during her Q or E. It was then discovered that ANY champ with a dash could insta-base with the same bug.

Im sure its because the developers ignored about scalability in the early days.

Its like working on old code which passes all the time and it suddenly fails once, then you realize that some variable was not correctly initialized.

@@mozzarellamaniac6300 Leauge of Legends is one of the biggest Codes Taking up to 1Million LOC of they are surely divided in some sort of way but they didnt think about fixing their old client no they just like u said patched some stuff while other stuff wasnt fixable but wasnt really gamebreaking, it continued itself to such an extend that the bugs in the game can happen in anytime and might like this bug cant be recreated because maybe there were so many other factors to it for that bug to happen. All in all, Riot should take their time to create a New Client and Have some testruns on it, i know they could but ig it just takes alot of money or something idk.

It looks like he walks into the E at the exact same time he refunds AND his health ticks to full. Could be that it's super precise. Most players also don't pre-move out of shop like that so it would make sense few people ever encountered this bug.

Yep, I've tried the exact same, but had no luck. Maybe, as you say, it needs to be a specific distance away from the fountain aswell. I think he refunded just a very short moment before, but yeah... There are just so many variables.

@@Vandirilis is the thing about bugs. If it’s replicable bug, then can be fixed, if it’s a once in a million chance bug, a lot harder to spot what the issue is since you can’t/extremely difficult to replicate the issue.

Riot is cooking such good high quality spaghetti that Vandiril can't even replicate it.

This happened to me once but it was on a different champ and lot of time ago like season 6

The sell and undo was so that he got full refills without walking to the middle of the fountain. It's a niche but nifty trick to save time.

Something else that’s interesting imo is how did he cast his gate while in hammer form? His ult was on cooldown when he cast it, and he was in hammer form.

I have been working with code for over a decade, and i still do not know how can people mess things so much

Do you think one of these 2 things could be it as to how this happened? He leaves base when his health bar does the final tic up on his health bar to 100% maybe related to that? Another possibility is leaving the buy area at the same time as undoing the sell on refillable? I tried myself and didn't seem to be either of these either, my timing may have been off though idk.

This happened to TF Blade a few weeks ago on Jax. I saw a short about it but struggling to find it.

tf blade also had this bug playing jax and he was refunding refillable potion

The E was already thrown, he pressed R and did the purchase. He seems to have lost all the mana the moment he crossed the E he threw before buying. You can try this: Have all the items he had and the tear mildly charged. Have your life and mana low (so you heal), throw E, R, step on stairs, open shop, sell potion and undo, close shop, cross your E.

Weird that it resolved after his second death

Something I noted going frame by frame. You can see his health regen go from 10.2 to 1.9 when he sold the potions, as he loses the regen from the ungoing potions. A bit after, the same frame that the undo goes through (his gold goes down 60), his health regen goes to 0.0 . The very next tick of regen, the bug happens. Sadly we can't see the mana regen value at that moment. It also seems to be the exact frame he walks off the fountain but its hard to say for certain. My guess is his regen values got messed up right then, and probably caused some overflow issue as soon as the game tried to use them. I think the walking into e is a coincidence, but it does coincide with the regen tick, so again, who knows.

I think TF Blade had this bug on jax a few months ago, i remember seeing it on one of those clip channels.

There's this bug with Hwei, it's hard to replicate but if you cast his spells too fast, like really fast, it'll show W available to cast but pressing it will do nothing, you can reset it by selecting another spell

If you're wondering, the bug happens in the video after a sell-undo of the refillable, and the effect happens in the same frame as the gold total is updated after the undo. Obviously unrelated, but funny nonetheless

I also had a bug after I had pressed undo in shop recently. My jungle item didn't dissapear for the whole game and could not sell it.

Could be that the bug only work on the other fountain ? Tf blade had the same bug being on red side

Maybe related to the tonic rune? The bug happens at lv8 almost lv9 when he gets the tonic to power up a skill. Could it be somehow related?

i once tried teemo, that suddenly i could use his w as an active ability - i was playing with astronaut teemo, all it did was shoot a red beam at the target that dealt 0 dmg, i've never been able to replicate it since.

me and few of my friend play aram the other day, when my friend (playing Thersh) got revived by Zilean ult near the inhibitor, he just get stuck beside it, cant move nor use skill or anthing about 10s. Then he suddenly just respawn at home with full health

ive seen the bug happen once before to someone else. if i remember who it was i will return, but he was playing Jax and it happened as well. i think tf blade but, i could be wrong.

is it just me or is there a little "lag" on mana regen on ult transforming champs (jayce, nida, elise)? i noticed my mana regen seems to stutter sometimes if i press r? almost like theyre copying the mana value on frame tick for... whatever reason?

Do you think it is possible that it was only related to the red side...? That would be so wild lol.

Look at the exact frame when he lost all mana. He has 1489/1400 hp that means that game thinks that he is in god mode and removes his mana so enemy can fight him. In arena with some augments u can heal hp when using r. I think they done smth to fix it and bring us this.

Please upgrade, refactor, do whatever it is to the source code. I really think the fee of maintaining is over-bugdet so they give up on keep the clean architecture and just add more and more spagetti into this filthy source code

One of the worst bugs I encountered was a Yasuo windwall where it blocked projectiles even tho I was nowhere near it (in fact, far from it). It happened twice in a single match and cost me both big teamfights which resulted in losing the match. It was a ranked game even and both teams literally witnessed it. It was somewhere in early or mid 2019. Thanks, Riot chris chans.

Riot should rework Jayce he should be manaless and change his mana bar to charge bar like Gnar or Aartrox or something :/// or just let the ahri 500$ skin fix the thing
