Marlon has a point boo. A lot of the famous singers in the Philippines are solo singers so not a lot of them are trained nor are they able to harmonize with other singers. Nagsasapawan lagi. Birit lang ng birit. But like you what said, who are we to say anything since apparently all we be listening to is pop... lol buhye...

Agree with you Marlon Roxas. Some of these people misconstrue singing in UNISON with HARMONY. lol. There is a major difference. And until recently the soloists when they sing on shows like ASAP just sing in unison or they alternate singing.

It's been a thing probably way before you were born. Have you heard of The Company? Or even the group like Hotdogs, VST etc... You see the common denominator? They're all groups. These 2 reactors have very low musical intellect that they like and know what's a good harmony but no idea how it is being done. They always criticised out of context. How can you expect 2 or 3 superstar singers singing in a TV show who have an hour or so rehearsal to harmonize? In order to harmonize someone has to give way and not belt. But when you put like Mariah and Celine for example, are you expecting them to harmonize when they sing together as guests in a tv show? (Not in a concert) They are both divas in their own way and will belt out all the way. If you want to hear good harmony, listen to a group like the Company or a group performance in a concert like these 3 artists.

One of Jaya's ears is almost deaf so it's amazing of her to still sing beautifully.

Jaya also was a rival of Regine way back in the mid-90's, but later on, they become best of friends and working on many projects like TV series and concerts, they complement each other very well in terms of singing.

I kind of agree with M-Angel. However, maybe they felt that it really would have been weird if Jaya sang with a thicker voice than the guys. I am personally happy with this rendition already.
