The Steller's Jay is having a slightly easier time getting a peanut because the crows are distracted with the fledglings around. I had put peanuts out hoping that the fledgling with white feathers would come with the parents. But of course when I have the camera ready they refuse to cooperate. So since the cats are also hanging out I put some kitty kibble out for the cats and the crows. I even went inside hoping the babies would come back but no, not today.
Hopefully soon i'll be able to get some video of the white feathers. That gene is surprisingly strong around here.
