Probably Cheaper and they only wanted to do the rave cpl days as they said they were only booked Friday to Monday. Plus it's about the same time if not more. It was 50 minute -1 hour drive from the air BnB the guys had to the NRG and back . . It was a 11 hour walk back and that would mean probably a hour on the bus or so. Plus the map shows where jay was staying is actually a bit further. Slightly . So they would of travelled about the same time to the NRG. I do agree it's not a bad place to off someone

He was told by a cafe owner it was 2 hours for the bus and he has thought he would walk not realising how far it was and got lost. He isn't going to be found alive, at this point it's a recovery mission. I have no sympathy for him. Anyone who carries weapons such as a machete intends to do someone serious harm if not kill. I think he was trying to take a short cut to the coast, that was his main refernece. He had no concept of the size, layout or geography of the island. He probably thought it would take a just a couple of hours. I've been hiking in Masca, you need the right footware, and he didn't have that.

i did get confused as I thought he left the house in the night, but that isnt correct. the witness said she saw him walking at 8am he asked about the bus and she told him. she said then later she saw him again but he was going the wrong way. just what report is right? if it was in the morning then how would he get lost he only had to follow the road the bus would use. Perhaps he was given a lift. also how come if this was morning he had all night to charge his phone did he? If she saw him at 8am he would have had food and drink by then if he was staying in that house with 2 men?

The lad who was attacked is in jail for 14 months for stealing a car and joyriding in it and with an ensuing police chase. He had a considerable number of crimes under his belt too. He, by all accounts was a 'wrong un.'

How about a trained buzzard they’re pretty good at detecting carcasses of all kinds from the air . With a tracker on the bird its free to fly were it lands you check it out . Sometimes humans rely on technology too much were nature can’t be bettered !!

That technology has been around for over 20 years and is being used today to track Migrating flocks of birds around the continents . when the birds in the air, and when it’s on the ground they can tell Do you think it sounds far-fetched it isn’t . What he was given is now gone but he has nothing to show for it.
