Man, I know you said there’s a few things that are unpainted but man that over head view makes me so happy to see a large army all painted, much respect the hours and hours and everything that went into this, I really appreciate it! Michael Foster- I've been adding Primaris to my Dark Angels army and have decided to go with a Primaris Detachment. The DA gets some Plasma love in the codex, so I've picked up a Redemptor Dreadnought, 10-man DA Hellblaster squad, Primaris DA Lt. and an Inceptor squad. Also, cool new looking semi-conversion is the Talon Master. He's a Ravenwing Lt. You need a standard Land Speeder kit and a Dark Angels Ravenwing upgrade sprue. The speeder gets a twin assault cannon and twin heavy bolter. The Lt. is armed with a power sword that he's hanging out the side. If you play, Lts are great in 8th cause you can re-roll wound rolls of 1. Keep em near Sammael are you're rerolling hits and wounds!For the Lion!!!!!!!!

Oh, and great looking army Jay! You can really see the paint progression in your army. I like your Primaris Capt without the helmet, Marneus Calgar, your kitbashed Capt. Sicarius and your kitbashed Apothecary the best. Oh, and Sgt. Telion looks great too! Thanks for sharing

I put a lot of thought into having it on and off but he was shown wearing it in a lot of the artwork and I figured it just looked cooler! He does look cool without his helmet on though, maybe I'll have to buy another one haha

I have a couple groups of ultra marines but I love salamanders

Also can I ask you what size magnates you put in stuff like terminators and small things is it the 1/16. I really want to magnatize my stuff going forward

Thanks for the great comments! I used 3mm in the smaller models like Terminators and used 6mm on the things like the Predators and Dreadnoughts. Hope it helps. Thanks for watching and good luck with your army!

You'll definitely be getting one this year! I've added a lot of units since I made this and I've gone back and repainted some of the older models so the army looks much more uniform now. Hopefully in a couple of months I can make a new one. Thanks for watching!

I got my first models back in 2005 with the Battle for Macragge box set which has some Tactical marines and some Tyranids, but when I started again in 2013 my first models were from a 3-man box of Dark Angels which had some paints included. The store manager at the time let me swap the paints out for Ultramarines colours which was very nice of him. After I painted those three, me and Aidan bought the Dark Vengeance box and the rest is history!

If only we could get through life without having to do that something the simple tutorials aren't telling us last time it happened to me I had to do some thinning following a glue accident on a celestine luckily I used some zoflora and it worked

We don't, but we may consider it sometime in the future! We'd rather just concentrate on getting more videos out on a regular basis at the moment! We've been working on some new armies and terrain for the last few months which is why we haven't uploaded much, but some cool stuff is on the way!

Very nice army Jay! Just a question, do you know a good place to start space marines? For the start of the year, I was wishing to reboot my Dark Angels with newer models, and was thinking of collecting the massive strike force. Is this a good idea, or should i go for something else? Thanks for posting, and keep bringing out this quality content!

If you're after the new Primaris Space Marines you should definitely get Dark Imperium :) the only thing with that is that you'll have the Death Guard models as well, so the best think to do would be either sell them or split the box with a friend like me and Aidan did. I would recommend the Start Collecting Space Marines box which has a squad of Marines, a Terminator Captain and a Venerable Dreadnought as well but it depends what sort of models you're after.

Michael Foster Start Collecting Space Marines are a great start. You said you don't like Primaris but you can buy only the Space Marine Half on Ebay for about $70.00USD. So basically a Start Collecting Primaris set. Both great starts!

By the way this is a beautiful example of Imperial power
