I interviewed him one night 3 years ago but he ended up taking over the whole phone convo. He was an amazing man! Live fast die young and leave a good looking corpse. Rest in piece Jay you had so much more to give. He help publish and record so many garage bands He came off snotty but oh well he was a great guy.

Jay was so talented & honest , the world is a lesser place without him ,, R.I.P. Great interview man .

I saw Jay Reatard play (in the Netherlands, Europe) with the Reatards, Lost Sounds and later as "Jay Reatard". Great shows! Friday (13th...) it's two years ago Jay went away. Oh, it's such a Shame... PLAY JAY EVERY DAY!

dont pass on the short lived Angry Angles, right before he was a solo artist. And the older Oblivians kinda mentored him...or he probably wouldnt have made it to 21. Nurtured by Goner and In The Red Records...youre missing out if you dont explore it all
