I love how honest he is about the BTS collab. Like most artists would probably be like "yea sure". I would love to see them collab seeing as they're two of my favorite artists but at the same time they make two completely different kinds of music. So him saying the music has to be right in order for a collab to happen is accurate

Yeah, exactly. Like it's easy to just nod and say you're game for a collab, but to be honest about the fact that their music might not fit is admirable. I think on Jay's part, it's just who he is, he's always been genuine anyway. I do think he might match Hobi tho. They're both fans of that boom-bap beat and have different enough rapping styles that it could still be interesting.

Charisse Coleman Right its refreshing seeing Asian representation in music. And actually Kris Wu who used to be in EXO had the #1 song on iTunes from last Friday to yesterday. He's still in top 5. That was a pleasant surprise. Of course some BTS fans are salty lol. But Kris is making such a name for himself in acting and music. And he's been in the NBA all star game so big ups

Many Kpop fans deny that kpop is derived from our music. I've been following for 4 years now and I hear and see American influence all up and down kpop. Jay has always stayed true to himself. That's why he was chosen out of all the gazillion(yes, I'm exaggerating) kpop/hip hop artists. I also love music crossing boundaries and that includes choreo too. It's amazing to see like someone in Sweden at a twerk fest in their country.

I really really hope that his new single Soju with 2 Chainz gets promoted and heard well throughout America. I also hope that he gets his upcoming album to be at the top of the charts here and gradually and ultimately resulting him becoming a lot more famous and recognized here by gaining millions of American fans. Best of luck to you bro because you deserve the best for working hard, grinding, and hustling this far into your career and life!!!!

same. like if it happened it would be fire, because jay wouldnt do it if the sound wasnt there. but their styles dont scream "omg they should be on the same track" mot even the rap line imo. if i was gonna wish for jay to collab with an idol rapper i'd probably ask for park kyung. and for bts to collab with a solo korean rapper then... maybe flowsik?
