The messages on mypace that got him kicked out were a cry for help. Remember this was the Early 2000's it still took years later with multiple artists suicides for the industry to care about mental health. First few gens had it hardest.

I can understand where Jay is coming from since we’re about the same age. There comes a time when you get pretty tired of your typical routine (whether it be your career or hobby) and you just want to expand your perspective so you can feel that drive in you again. You never stop learning as you get older. The world is so vast and there so many new things out there you have yet to explore.

JYP cutting ties with Jay Park was his biggest failure. He made his own label, became a star by himself. And also made a path for other artists, his talent, acumen and achievements cannot be denied.

I've been a fan of 2pm since the day they debuted. I believe the events of that day (September 2009) were painful for both fans and 2PM. I would like to say that JYP did not cut him out of the group. He was suspended. His current variety show was suspended. Because someone exposed him about his posts about Korea in the past, 2pm's fans were all waiting for him, everyone believed that Jay would come back. 2pm members always say Jay's name while accepting awards. But because the situation at that time was very bad. There were protesters opposing his removal from the group. Until after the heartbeat song Jay finally decided to leave 2pm. AND NOW everyone is doing well. And grow in their own path, both Jay and 2pm, I'm ready to support them.

Take the positives side if Jay Park wasn't kickout by JYP company, there's no way Jay Park could be as Self-Motivating and Successful as he is now. but if we talk about his past with 2pm if only we could understand and be in the situation of 2009-2010, maybe we could see the common thread, the bigger picture then hope to resolve it or at least reconcile the two sides of them.

He can’t ever really get away from music as a CEO of multiple brands. Personally his own music has died down. I’m pretty sure he means he’s still making music just not busting out song after song. Also this interview is pretty true bc his career has shifted into another direction as of late. He’s now doing a lot more reality tv and going on Korean shows.
