Look, I usually don't talk trash and I'm gonna try to avoid it as much as possible now. But I'll say this. It's absolutely clear that his bikes look gorgeous! Very cool looking bikes. But Jay Leno ain't the only one I've heard say they're actually pretty poor quality and feel terrible to ride. I don't think he can just dismiss those criticisms as, "but they're not a REAL biker." Seems too consistent across-the-board for me to not think there's some truth in it.

Weather Jay Leno paid for his OCC bike or not the simple fact Leno had the OCC guys on his show and show cased one of their builds did more for the OCC brand then all the years they were on Discovery. Of course Sr. would never acknowledge that fact.

I know a lot of shops won't touch heavily mod'd bikes. I'm fine with regular maintenance, but i'm not taking the engine apart. I ain't got that type of time.

There were holes drilled in frame to run wires and they weren't de-burred so when the wires were pulled out they were missing a lot of the rubber coating. The burrs scraped the wires bare on assembly, Beauty !!! Pure Junk

But they didnt grow up in the 60s -70s like i did. Choppers werent built origanaly to ride like a goldwing. Lets be honest. Most choppers ride alot differant the factory bikes. I've had 2-3 prob more that looked cool as hell but road like an old buckboard. Lol. It was the look.back then we had to build our own bikes , we all didnt have rich families And custom parts uausally had to be made by you or if you had a friend whos "dad" had a welder. Thats why alot of us old guys were rattle can kings. The good old days making me get all nastalghic. Thanks big dog. Looking fwd to the next part. Be safe my brother Love & respect.

As much hate that these guys get online, I actually have great respect for Sr and Jr. Sr definitely was an imperfect person like all of us but he was real and had a ton of great qualities as a father figure. He definitely wore his upbringing on his sleeve but I do think that's what made him a great man and father although ill admit he didn't always harness it well towards his kids but I think ultimately it was much more of a net positive than any negative in their lives. Nobody is perfect and if they had cameras rolling with a microscope on any of us everyday, they'd find things not quite right about us too. I respect all he has done and I think the whole family are good people who've accomplished impressive things while entertaining us. Im dying for that show to come back cuz it was truly one of a kind and the realest reality show we've ever had by far. As far as their bikes, alot of them were show pieces for advertisement of companies part of marketing campaigns but they were beautiful and nobody can deny that. I wish they made some more traditional style bikes instead of the long rake Choppers but that's what they were known for so they followed their brand. Most people don't realize that these style Choppers are not comfortable or very rideable for average riders including myself. They are more for enthusiasts who are looking specifically for this style. These long rake Choppers look great but most people don't realize that it's an acquired taste that isn't for everyone and I was so glad Sose actually said that in the interview cuz nobody ever mentions that aspect of it. So many people shit on these bikes like they are trash but they really aren't and if you look at the parts, they are the best motors and transmissions etc on the market and we all watched their sheetmetal work and know it ain't trash. People just expect it to ride like a Road King than ride it and it's very awkward and a totally different animal than any traditional motorcycle. These Choppers are very bare bones, stiff with not the best handling and alot of times have rigid frames where your only suspension is in the seat which is just a couple springs or 1 shock. You really have to want these bikes specifically to enjoy them and like Sr said, it's an enthusiast and collector that appreciates these bikes mainly and they go in and out of trend constantly and right now they are out of trend. Anyways, great conversation as usual and hope to see more of the Teutal family and motorcycles!

OCC made too many bikes that were built for show and not for go. I would ride a couple of Paul Jrs bikes.

No hate. Choppers, and Harleys can only be ridden when the weather is good. Just not my vibe. The same goes with sport bikes. I just want function over form.

I think Paul is a genuine person. I remember that episode and the brakes are top of the line and a little Google search proves it. I just think Jay just wanted to be a di.k plus if you listen to what Paul said in the first interview with the other channel he said the bike was given to Jay Leno which means the production company paid for it just to have Jay Leno on the show.

Choppers are a look, they are the opposite of most things. They are form over function. It shows you are tough because you are riding something inherently dangerous, but only as a motorcycle. So to argue they are great at anything other than looks takes away from their purpose. To be dangerous and mindlessly tough. That is all a chopper is for, risking your life every time you ride. Now here they try and defend the riding characteristics is kind of a waste and takes away from any dangerous cool factor they might have had. So just might as well get a real bike that is proven to work and be comfortable
