As a steam enthusiast myself I enjoyed seeing this. Those old steam cars had very long legs on the open road and we could have gone a lot further with steam had it not been for the IC engine and oil companies.

That can put out more toque than modern cars, if we build a steam car with today's tech, that's gonna be fantastic, definitely better than ice cars

@mukund p you do know that most electricity is generated by using fossil fuels to power these electric cars of yours only other options that i can think of off the top of my head are wind power which is not viable in some locations, hydroelectricity which not many places have, and solar power which i think is still fairly expensive, and nuclear energy which I think is stupid because I see them as ticking time bombs.

You could start making a boiler with or copper tubes or steel 316 tubes of 3/4 size and 2,16 millimeters thickness, then, depending on your engine, cut it's engine to 3 cylinders, then mirror the valves to make it into a 2 stroke engine and now make it a double expander, get the inlet to enter only the first piston, then its exhaust to the other 2 inlets, then in the 2 piston exhaust you get a condenser and condense it, get a bomb, and push it into the boiler, boom, steam car.

@@bigears4426 You really are clueless as to how Internal Combustion won out over Steam aren't you? Ford ran a massive campaign against steam, sold his cars FAR cheaper then steam cars and on top of that, ICs were less complicated then Steam. IT's simple. Make a product that is cheaper to buy, Easier to use, and people will flock to it. Need Proof. Try calling a Taxi, when he gets there, if one still functions where you live, As the Taxi driver about Uber. You need a far smaller supply of a burnable fuel to run a fire to boil water to make steam then you do to run IC motor that has the same Torque. If you knew ANYTHING about mechanics, and clearly you don't. Even watching Jay Garage can teach you this. You'd know.

The Doble steam car burns regular gasoline and gets about 15mpg. Not really all that efficient. In the '50s there were plans to build steam cars like this powered by Uranium. It never got off the drawing board due to safety concerns.

This camera crew always catch Leno driving over the lines. Are these old cars terribly difficult to maintain lane control? I suppose there's big steering wheels because there's no power steering.
