Now i'm a SANGER not a singer folks BIG difference. And have always thanked The Lord for blessing me with a voice. Hearing this man "imitate" Patti, Luther, & Anita my 3 TOP vocal inspirations was beyond hilarious i almost wet myself. HOWEVER, this man can SANG folks you just can tell even if he was joking around. That he is certainly vocally gifted in his own right. So my hat's off to him and very well done...!!! :)

the crowd wasn't awful, the audio just isn't set up to pick up crowd noise. You can tell by the sound that its a pretty large room.

Yeah I was thinking that. I think a lot of modern acts have room mics that pic that up, and this taping didn't have that or at least this clip doesn't. Most microphones like this aren't omni-directional, they're set up for straight input and a bit of side input. So yeah I'm with ya

Jay Lamont has been DRASTICALLY UNDERRATED for YEARS!! He was on Def Comedy Jam in the 90s killing that crowd. He's a Master Impersonator and obviously a great singer. I know this clip is old because of the era he was in. He can always Impersonate classic old school r n b singers but if he's still performing in this era,. he has to Impersonate modern vocalists, actors, rappers, athletes, comedians, Preachers, politicians, tv personalities etc in order to keep the interest of the powers that be in the entertainment field and the millennials who are watching. He's a dynamic performer who I pray will one day get the credit he deserves.🖕

I'm an 80s kid and I am STILL a huge fan of all of these singers he's talking about... Not to mention that On My Own is still one of my all time favorites! But, give credit where credit is due.... This guy knocked it out of the freakin park! I am crying and laughing at this because it's all true and on point! But, that's what made these singers so admirable!

This crowd blew it for this man. He killed it.

I've been mimicking legendary singing voices, singers, songs most of my life! Jay is the best I've heard that can really sing! and change his voice! been trying for years to prove myself worthy as a vocal impressionist! but continue success to him!
