I’ve been a fan of Jamiroquai since high school, and after a long gap, the song “you give me something” came to me upon waking up one day. I started binge listening to it and others I could sense that his songs are from a totally different dimension. Now I’m binging on “summer girl” and it’s just insane. I truly believe he’s channeling a divine dimension in his songs with a deep message. I recall reading Jay Kay had a near death experience when he was younger which would have made him deeply connected to the divine and spirit and this earth (even his old songs make sense to me now)... thank you Jay Kay for your genius and for your charisma and cool and hotness. You are hands down one of the most effortless, coolest guys in music history ever.

Right but would you act like a petulant child, brag about the value of your vehicle at the top of your lungs, patronise a female bystander, shout in her face, then aggravate and corner someone smaller than you because "they look guilty" to the extent that they spontaneously headbutt you? His music is subjective. "Genius" is ridiculous in my opinion. Jay Kay is technically very pedestrian, MOR jazz funk vocal style with limited range and dynamic. I'm not hating on people who like that however. His personality on the other hand precedes him - he's known throughout the music industry as a dickhead. One can only hope he's maturing with age... :)

All these negative comments. It should all be about the music and Jamiroquai are absolute legends, but I guess in today's pretentious world real talent isn't acknowledged. Their sound is unique and broke barriers in the 90's onwards. Jay Kay is also one of the few artists that sound exactly the same live as on their albums. They have a huge following, regardless of what some of you are saying about his appearance. Don't judge a book by its cover!

i have not watched his interviews before (i think i watched some in the 90's actually, as i liked his early work) but i don't think anyone deserves the mistreatment and abuse a good amount of you have given in the comments below. whether of not any of you have fallen into things you wish you had not, cant you just understand him as a human being? he is someone who has gone through a bit and from what you all say, did not react very well to some things. but he's still a human being. doesn't he deserve your kindness for being that? what if he were your friend or family. wouldn't you rather root for them, worry about them, hope the best for them?

3 years later was their ever any hate. I listen to him since I was a kid with his first track and the band has always been popular.
This dude's music really can reach anyone, I grew up listening to mostly rap, but there's a certain unique sound and authenticity to his music that just makes you like his stuff. Even the cheesy love songs got a bit of appeal to them.
His speaking voice is so much richer and deeper than I'm used to.

Special place in my heart for this band.
Wish he made more music with his talent, his music brought so much joy to the world.

I am so so soooooo happy he's back. I have listened to all his tunes nearly every week over the last 11 years can never get bored of him. Genius and inspiring his fashion is the best and his voice and songs 😍😍
Jamiroquai is a world wonder.
I've been a fan of Jamiroquai since 1996, and I think what distinguishes his music are the rhythms! Rhythms that no one of any age can resist dancing to! But of course JK's white Stevie Wonder voice also helps.
I love this guy. he's like a soul mate. so cool and relatable. doesnt take life too seriously and loves to highlight meaningful stuff. has my full support since 2005 when i first heard Seven Days In Sunny June, the most perfect song of his in my opinion 😍😍

THIS!!! keyboard warriors here are so dumb and have nothing in their life as a legacy. no talent. just nitpicking on uninportant stuff to make their miserable lifes feel a little bit better XD
I like him a lot! He has a lot of talents I love his musique
i have not watched his interviews before (i think i watched some in the 90's actually, as i liked his early work) but i don't think anyone deserves the mistreatment and abuse a good amount of you have given in the comments below. whether of not any of you have fallen into things you wish you had not, cant you just understand him as a human being? he is someone who has gone through a bit and from what you all say, did not react very well to some things. but he's still a human being. doesn't he deserve your kindness for being that? what if he were your friend or family. wouldn't you rather root for them, worry about them, hope the best for them?
He's so endearing.
You can't go wrong with his type of 70s, 80s and 90s style music
A true legend of my youth
Jay kay is an absolute legend
I have been a fan pretty much all my life, I remember my dad playing when you gonna learn and too young to die as far back as I remember.

How in the world did I miss this interview!
Jamiroquai is unique and has songs that nobody else can copy
I feel privileged to have seen them live on the funk odyssey tour. ..AMAZING
He's a showman and a singer and bloody good at both, and he has a good band and has soul....he understands and gels with his band, he does what he does because he likes it, not because he needs the money, I'd really like to play bass for his band.
Finally getting some funk back! WB Jay Kay!
what a legend
We are lacking the slick guy with the cool videos in today's artists totally from within a decade that still prejudiced great music 😎

Holy shit ..... his singing voice is soooooooooo left field from his casual voice, I didn't expect him to sound like this, i have been listening for awhile and decided to watch an interview for the first time lol.
when i first heard his new album automaton i was disappointed thought it wasnt that good but i gave it a chance and listened to it 5 or 6 times and now i actually really like it. It is a good album it just doesnt grab so much on the first listen.

Jason's one of the few rockstars who've never lost his own British accent, quite broad North London, very good, J, keep it British! ;-)
Genial, Rumba-Colombia.
GOOD ALBUM…VERY CHEERFUL FOR THIS AUTOMATIC WORLD
Jay Kay has a good point about in ear's.
That youtube headbutt on him by a Pap is gold
Everyone compare him to Stevie wonder as a serious influence when jay Kay's music is clearly a mirror image of roy ayers and gil scott heron
He's back on blow! Great music ahead 🙏🏾
