I have used this exact model for a couple of years now. One thing I would add is to use Scott's Rapid-Dissolving toilet paper. [There are other brands, but not as good.] You don't want regular toilet paper clogging the drain hole. Also, when dropping solids, open the blade valve first, so nothing will stick to the valve itself. Otherwise, it will start to contaminate the seal. And you don't want to have to clean the hole afterward, either if you can help it. Also, have the cover down before closing the blade valve, because when closing it, sometimes it will splash you with what's in the bowl. It is essential to put RV toilet treatment in the waste tank also. It deodorizes and breaks down the solids, so when you pour it out, it will be more liquid. If it's more long-term and you have water/sewer hook-ups, you can connect it via 3" rubber couplers and PVC pipe to a Stinky Slinky and plug it into the sewer. The tank can be flushed out with a garden hose from the top.

A gallon of water weighs 8.34 lbs. That is 41 lbs of water + Cassette Toilet weight. After doing #1 and #2 you have to carry the same 41 lbs with the additional weight of #1 and #2 to dump in the toilet and refill and carry back. With a Trelino composting toilet you only carry your #1 and #2 without additional 41 lbs.

I am not one to like tutorials because I usually get annoyed at the people for not getting into the demonstration quickly enough. Thank you for being so thoughtful with that and doing a very good presentation. I just moved into an RV with a very temporary collapsible and I'm ready to upgrade, but the plumbing is not in yet so this will work wonderfully.

Great demonstration! I noticed that Camco instructions say to have slide valve open while you use it so the waste goes right into the bottom tank. I would think that would apply with this one, too? Since the design is the same. Maybe less mess if it goes straight down and if using recommended chemicals, the odor is too not bad.

I have the same style as this toilet it looks identical but it has two flush spout spickets one on each side and aimed in opposite directions, so it gets both sides and cleans the whole bowl really well when you flush it.

This is what I call a great video! You went the extra mile to show this product. The only thing I wish I could have seen is how to clean it. Aside of swiping with toilet paper on those tough reaching spots, you might want to consider having available a couple of 2 liter coke bottles, filled up with water to use for the flushing part, since pressing on the flush button constantly could be kind of annoying. Even water spray bottles for those spots could be helpful. Because for people with rheumatoid arthritis for example, pressing constantly on that button could be quite a challenge, but none the less, the product overall is still a great option! Thanks for the demo. Was quite helpful. Liked your sense of humor too. Contagious! 😏

I bought one piece of that model, but it leaks water every time I pump the water into it (when having the waste container closed) to retain some water, as a try to prevent our biowaste get sticked on the inner surface. Question: Is this leak normal or is there's something wrong with my product ?
