I love the character of Wendy. She went from a loveless marriage and meth addict. To one of the only mentally stable people on the show. She took her pain and helped other people learn to live without meth. that is no easy job. So good for her. I always thought she should have been apart of Able life after she had proven being clean. she could be there to teach her son the real evil of drugs like nobody else. unless you been there it's kinda hard to tell someone.

Katrina Kirkes exactly. She was 100% more interesting (and much stronger) than Tara. It's funny how she became the voice of reason for Tara, while Tara was doing all sorts of dumb shit, risking her career/kids and freedom for a man ,while Wendy was focused on making her life better. Ironic how the tables turned toward the end (much like in real life).

i loved wendys character. shes so beautiful. i iwsh they would have started the show with her actually being with jax for a little bit.

season one Wendy was the sickest from acute drug use in season seven she was the healtest person on SONS! she was clean and had her head on her shoulder's! she was really great with Thomas and like Tara Wendy didn't treat Able any different than she did Thomas! Tara loved Able like she loved Thomas no difference between the two. Wendy treated Thomas as she did Able there was no difference! Wendy was the best person to raise both boy's!

I absolutely love this video! There aren't enough Jax and Wendy vids! I liked Tara for the first couple of seasons, then my like for her slowly diminished. I always felt that Jax and Wendy were a more realistic couple than Jax and Tara, even though they had some cute moments together. Great work!

Just finished Sons of Anarchy. I really liked Wendy. Loved the way she stepped up for the boys. I also liked Nero so thought it was nice they left together with the boys. Two flawed but decent characters.

#TeamWendywasbetter... I love Wendy, She was fav lady from the beggining to the end. If Jax and Wendy would have been toguether, all would have been better, she really loved him.

What do you mean Team Wendy? There was no competition. For Jax, it was always Tara.

I'm late on commenting because I've only just caught up with SoA and my feelings for Wendy have really evolved this season. I mean, I never hated her or disliked her but I wasn't attached to her character. This season she's brought a softness to the show not unsimilar to how Tara was early on in the series and Wendy is really the best thing for those boys. She makes no demands on Jax and she's just grateful for the time she has with Abel. However, I'm so glad she's getting away with the boys because she and the children deserve so much better than Jax and I felt this video was like a perfect portrayal of their rather complex relationship throughout the show. Wendy gets a lot of shit for being an ex drug user, but she's the purest person on this entire show and she deserves nothing but a happy ending. Your editing is simple yet seamless at the same time and it's always hard to find fault with your videos, the way you put scenes together is an art. Loved this!

OMG BLESS YOU. This is so unique and their relationship sure isn't easy to vid. I'm so EXCITED you're vidding this show and during these epic times. Ahhhhhh. I'm gonna rewatch this to fully appreciate every little thing you put there:D

I find the discussions in the commentary section to be very interesting yet at the same time very befuddling. I think, for the sake of any argument, it basically boils down to: we like who like; let's agree to disagree. With that said, I have to point out the fact that just because one liked Jax/Wendy it doesn't mean one approved of all the shit they've done. I think, as Sutter had intended to show, not one of these characters are perfect. So i don't understand the need to rate down or trash this pairing when YOU clicked on this video. If you ship tara/jax thats great, congrats now go and find their videos to watch. That doesn't mean you can't watch a pairing you don't like it just means keep in mind that those who comment are probably going to be in support of this pairing because it is a JAX/WENDY VIDEO. So why argue against what they like? Anyways thanks for the views regardless.

this video is sooo good and i love them. i love them since the begining because i feel like tara wanted out, she wanted to run away from all of this and i think wendy is strong enough to stay and deal with all this shit. maybe because she doesn't want anything more and tara was great doctor and she run away before. sure wendy isn't perfect, we all know that, but i think like you said she knows the lifestyle. and she gets all the shit. and for what's more - she understands that gemma is the queen and she doesn't want to change it :D GREAT VIDEO AND GREAT STORYLINE.

I think Wendy understands that she cannot protect those boys outwith the life - she can't take them and run, Jax has already compromised her sobriety once; we've seen what Gemma was capable of when she thought her boys were going to be taken from her. I've seen people accuse Wendy of being weak, but I think the fact that she hasn't descended to the levels of others who are caught up in the club shows her strength. She maintains her innocence, she has no agenda. She's working within the "system", so to speak, so that Abel and Thomas will have someone to care for them.

xladyxmacbethx I agree with all of that except the last line. I think Wendy's trepidation (or lack of resistance) to Gemma was something she was forced into. I think because of the crap Gemma has put her through it was more of a 'oh i cant get past her so i have to do the only thing I can do' which is play nice so that she could get the opportunity to spend time with her son. She just wanted his well being over hers. But yeah no tara never fit in this world. I think that was one of SOA's biggest flaws in the show was the realistic nature of Jax/Tara.

Damn, I love this video even after all these years. It is quite amazing. Along with another fanvid, this one is one of my top favorites. As I rewatch the series over again, Wendy was destined to be the series savior of Abel and Thomas and Jax knew he didn’t have a choice. While Tara regressed and almost lost her mind, Wendy found hers and stepped up. This vid is so personal and makes me have all the feels ❤️❤️ You also did Jon and Sansa “Closer” and I’m in love with that one too. You’re amazing!

Tara tried getting her kids out of Charming. You call that losing her mind? And at the end she was ultimately validated because Jax got them out at the very end.

This is fantastic, Gaby. I've never SHIPPED these two but I've liked their dynamic and love that they were able to mend their relationship and that Wendy has been one of the best developed characters on the show and I do think she needs more respect. This was a great video for them and the song really was perfect.

P.S I love how you cut from Jax's smile after he told Abel the truth to the exact same smile when Wendy saw Abel for the first time after she got back from rehab in Season 1 - it was the very scene on my mind when I watched the reveal in 7.10. I don't know what happened to civil Jax from the first season, who told Wendy she'd always be a part of Abels's life - by season 6, he is so threatened by her, he shoots her up? WTF?!

This is beautifully done. I wish there were more episodes for Jax and Wendy to develop this further, but oh well. More tragedy. I say there is some sexy chemistry, much different than with Tara.

Perfect.

What I have loved is how deep Drea has been with the character .... you can really see growth over the years. What I do NOT love is them not having given her a lot to do other than be the babysitter. I was sort of hoping Wendy would be given her own storyline.... but maybe that's just me. I don't really ship anyone on this show, but what I do ship is the great bonds and relationships in total this show has had. While I haven't loved this year for some reason ... i'm for sure going to miss this crazy show. YOU were the one who got me hooked after that So Cold video (I think that was the title of it) back in the day. I blame you for all my crazy. lol Good job. Sorry I rambled. Great video, hun! You know I don't ship Wendy/Jax, but I have a great appreciation for their complex relationship and enjoy their scenes (Charlie and Drea are amazing), so of course I loved this!

I'm so happy to see there's such a great video about Jax and Wendy out there. You did an amazing job portraying their friendship/relationship. I'm sure it wasn't easy, considering their bond (or lack thereof) hasn't been easy either. I've loved the character of Wendy since season 1, but back then it was obvious he was going to marry Tara etc. Nevertheless, I'm glad they made Drea main cast in season 7. She's a much more likeable and more realistic character than Tara ever was (this is my opinion, don't shoot me because of it!). I know this show isn't about shipping and all, but, blame it on my being a girl, I do hope from the bottom of my heart these two end up together in the series finale. I feel like it would be the perfect conclusion to their tumultous relationship, especially considering how much Wendy has grown. However, I don't think Sons of Anarchy will let us have a peaceful ending to the show... Sorry for the long comment, I really loved this video. Great work!

Why in the world would you want Wendy to be with a man that never loved her? A man that told her he never wanted to be married to her and he hated her when she got pregnant? A man that told the woman he really loved that he only married Wendy because he was lonely and she was just a sad timeout? To a man gave slept with her then proceeded to choose the woman he really loved the next day in front of Wendy and the whole club? Why would you prefer Wendy be with a man that violently slammed her against a wall and injected her with a speedball?? Nope I’m into loveless marriages and domestic violence. Jax never loved Wendy the way a man should love his wife. Wendy deserved better than Jax and I’m glad she got the boys. They’re much better off with Wendy and Nero than Jax and his lunatic mother. Wendy and Nero had great chemistry in the last season. I’m hoping they got together raised the boys on the farm and had a happy life. If Jax didn’t walk away from the club for the love of his life, he’s not walking away with Wendy, a woman he married because the woman he really loved wasn’t there. Wendy would have always been second best. Besides he told Abel that him and Wendy were better off as friends, and he meant it.

Let me start by saying that when I found out you made something for my bday I was unbelievably touched! You've always been such a good friend to me but I never expected anything. I also have to admit that when I found out you made something I hoped it was them - Jax & Wendy. Honestly, I would have loved anything. The gift is what counts and you've never made a bad video in your life, so I knew no matter what it would blow my mind. But as you said, you're the only other person who gets them. And god if this season hasn't been exactly what I needed for them. Not gonna lie, still hoping they hook up, but I'm not holding my breath. This video though, you're so talented bb! I don't understand why people have a hard time understanding where Tara came from the moment she became a mother. It just wasn't the same for her and it's totally sane to want the best for your kids specially in such toxic environment. Wendy wasn't mother material or responsible during most of the show and I'm glad she got it right to take care of them once Tara was gone but yeah it was never Tara's case. She had her feet grounded and knew what was best for them and that it wasn't only about what she thought she could handle before.

Amazingly done! I absolutely love and and don't think there is nearly enough attention paid to the Jax/Wendy relationship. I agree with what a few others said as well; Wendy does seem like a bitter fit for this world. She's risen above so much and stayed out of a lot of fray while Tara was getting dragged down into it. I'll admit, I was never a huge Tara lover. Yet I love what Kurt has done with Wendy. I can't wait (and I'm nervous) to see what the finale has.

I realize that the circumstances would have been different but you can't say he would not have sacrificed himself for his kids anyways. Jax didn't kill Gemma just because she killed Tara. Jax killed Gemma so she couldn't poison his sons to live the life of chaos. Gemma did try to kill Wendy too. The show was about a outlaw biker club they did bad things with or without Tara or Wendy. It was not a love story.....Your obviously not a Tara fan.

So nobody would have died in the criminal world if Tara hadn't come back. Tara saved a lot of their lives too. Like you said the story would have been differant but I still think he would have sacrificed his life for his kids not freedom. Gemma ruined Jax. She turned him into the criminal. Gemma could never except the fact that jax loved Tara more than her. Gemma even says at the truck stop to dead Tara that his love for Tara was when she realized he wasn't going to be hers forever. The push pull for jax went both ways. So if your going to blame Tara you need to blame Gemma too. I think we just need to agree to disagree.

Thank you for the discussion, I respect your opinion as well and I know we agreed to disagree... Don't get me wrong I don't think Tara should not have come back either but I do not blame her for jax becoming dark. The people most responsible for turning jax dark were Clay and Gemma. That is the whole reason Gemma tells clay to pull him in closer to make sure he follows in the right fathers footsteps. The club did not have as many enemies when Tara first showed up. They weren't into drugs. Jax had no intention on leaving the club so most things before her death to make the club go legit prior would have happened with or without her. Sutter says himself that opie and Tara were the good side of Jax his true north when they are both gone he is lost. And yes it was a tragedy and I alway knew from early on that jax most likely would not make it out alive in one way or another with or without Tara. Anyways sorry for yet another rant. I will totally agree to disagree now.

I would argue the downfall of the club (and that includes Jax and Gemma) is primarily their own fault. I think a bunch of violent, career criminals made their own bed long before Tara came back to Charming. Jax made his own decisions much like Tara. He was in own man. And Gemma was most likely a controlling psycho long before Tara and Jax got together in high school.

I feel like it's easier to relate to Wendy now, and she's become more likeable because of the fact that she was gone for so much of everything. I am a heavy Jax/Tara fan, there just isn't anyone else for him, not even Wendy, because at the end of the day Tara was his soulmate. But I definitely have seen a different side to Wendy than ever before, her character has grown so much, but I really think she was able to as others have said, "stay above the fray" because she wasn't there for a lot and that allowed her not to get lost in the world as what happened to Tara. I do think Wendy is a yes man, I don't think she would ever say no to Jax or really challenge him, which is why she kinda fits into the world more seamless. I also think that's why at the end of the day they can' be together because she's not the woman he needs. On the other hand, the fact that she's not like Tara might push him back in her direction, as what happened when they got together in the first place. Regardless, good video, I love this song as well.

I adore tara; however tara/jax never sat well with me for this show. However because this is a show and we are given what we get I totally understand that Tara was the great love of Jax's life. And wendy will never replace that but what draws me about Jax/Wendy is the fact that Wendy always fit more in this world of his. I don't even think it was about challenging jax because honestly jax and wendy were alike in more ways than I can count. And there is a love there (no not as strong as his love for Tara) but there is love. IDK i just always felt jax/wendy were more realistic than jax/tara. Anywhoo thank you sooo much for the comment!!

I thought I was only one prefer Wendy over Tara and rooting her, hoped to see more Jax and Wendy in season 7, but Sutter didn't care.

They did Wendy dirty in season 7. She was nothing more than and glorified babysitter. She was just such an minor character on the show we never got to see much of her. Her and Jax were never a couple on the show. He was already divorcing her when the show started and then she left. I don’t know how anyone can prefer Wendy and Jax together. The man literally told her he never wanted to be married, TO HER. Then told her he hated her when she got pregnant. Then slept with her and the next day chose the woman he really loved in front of her and the whole club. He also told the woman he really loved that he married Wendy because he was lonely and she was nothing more than a timeout. That when he slept with Wendy or any other woman Taras face was the only one he saw. Let’s not forget Jax I’m such a nice guy Teller violently slammed her against a wall and injected her with a speedball? Yeah to the people who prefer them together? I’m guessing the prefer loveless marriages and domestic violence. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Don’t get me wrong. I’m still glad Abel and Thomas ended up with Nero and Wendy and not Jax and his lunatic mother. They’re much better off with Wendy and Nero. Nero and Wendy had great chemistry together and I’m hoping the ended up together happy on the farm with the boys.

I much preferred Wendy over Tara. Tara in season one was great but as the seasons went on she just seemed to act more like a spoiled, petty teenager. Once Wendy got her life together, she became more level headed and acted much more mature than Tara ever did.

Natasha Coda I couldn’t agree more. I thought I was the only one that got annoyed by Tara later on. Especially after Wendy had turned her life around instead of dwell on the past and hold anger in her heart for Jackson and his mother. Wendy just became more of a complex character than Tara. And to stick by Jax’s side even after he injected her with that dosage of heroine or whatever that was, you gotta give Wendy huge props.

I always felt bad for Wendy. Wendy really did love Jax but unfortunately for her she had a fatal flaw. It was a flaw that Jax would never be able to look past and Wendy herself knew what that flaw was: she wasnt Tara

I always liked Wendy more than Tara. Granted, I hated her guts when she was pregnant with Abel and shot up H. However, Tara was just so idiotic, having a child with a 1%er biker and do a bunch of shady, asshole shit to get both Thomas and Abel out of their MC lineage; Abel wasn't even here to begin with. If she wanted kids to lead a regular life, she would have just fucked a doctor. Sure, Wendy seemed a bit more indifferent about both of those boys growing up in the life but she was way more supportive and a way stronger maternal figure than Tara ever was, in the later seasons. Goes to show that even if Tara claimed she loves Jax, she was basically kidnapping his kids while Wendy, who wasn't even in love with Jax in the earlier seasons, claiming he was just hot and they were drinking buddies, that their marriage was Gemma's rushed mistake, turned out to be the better woman. (Although, I did those tense, alone Jax and Wendy moments sometimes. X3) Are they Jendy? They certainly can't be Wax. 😂

That's because Tara WASNT an idiot. She was madly in love with Jax. But she also knew the biker life would be the end of them, and also doom Abel and Thomas to a shorter life. JT knew this. Piney knew this and Opie knew it as well. So when Jax tried to get the club legit he and Tara were on the same page. When Jax lost faith he knew getting out was the only way to save his family, Tara was on the same page. She even stayed in the fire when he told her to leave, just to make sure he wasn't alone.

DreadPages Gee, I sure hope the next addition to this series is merely just Abel and Thomas growing up on the straight and narrow and becoming accountants or some shit for 7 more seasons. Real quality entertainment. 👌

Tara was being a mother. She was trying to get her children out of danger. And by the way, Tara was ultimately validated at the end because Jax got them out at the very end.

Videos about Jax n Wendy tell me why it has Tara n Jax in bed bout getting it on 😂

Maybe you jumped the gun with this video - all the goodness we got last night would have fitted in nicely!

Hated Wendy pissed me off so much … was hoping she was have got killed off in the show
